I wouldn't know. I stopped reading months ago. I got so tired of the Hueco Mundo arc. It's like it isn't even the same manga I started reading. I liked how it was on earth with Ichigo's friends and fighting demons on the side and now it's totally different. :P

@Whiwhi - I just got tired of it. I'm just tired of the standard shounen formula in general though. I'll start a series and enjoy it, but once it falls into the fight, power up, kick ass, fight, power up, kick ass, rinse and repeat formula, I just can't go on.

anime/manga like that do suck after an arc or two >.> yami likes romance or fantasy adventure manga more because they're less repetative

same here cookie... the only manga i read in shounen was naruto and bleach. i read FMA too but i love fma so meh<3

@Yamichi - Most manga has a formula, shounen's manga just tends to be terribly tiresome with the way it goes on and on and on and on and ON! If it wasn't made to be so commercialized, so people can cash in on it for a long time, it would be better. Why is it that things that really need to end, go on forever but good things that should go longer just stop? ;_; Naruto gets hundreds of episodes of anime, but smaller more awesome series get a dinky 13.

@Whiwhi - I really need to finish reading FMA. And it's actually ended, unlike Bleach and Naruto!

yea yami completely agrees cookie-chan =3 but yami likes case closed aka Detective Conan which is forever and a day long and is a bunch of murder mysteries but they're fun to read

My current favorite manga is Hajime no Ippo. It's shounen like, but is semi-realistic, and the pace of growth of the characters is actually realistic. It is quite nice, <3;

Cookie is just bitter that things like her beloved microbe anime get cut short in the anime department but Naruto gets like a hundred filler episodes. And now they're doing a live action Moyashimon which is sooooooooooo baaaaaaad. *sobs* Just make more anime people!

My shounen of the moment is Beelzebub. It's just so goofy. Plus there are fights, but it seems to dance around the normal formula. It still may fall in line with it, but for now, it's fun to read :D

I hate it when a manga just stops all together when it hasn't ended :stare: DN Angel took like 4 years to put out vol 12 after 11 and then 13 came and now it's paused again :illgetu: and Loveless has seemed to stop at 8, haven't seen 9 anywhere :cry:

@Yamichi - Kubo Tite's earlier manga, Zombie Powder just up and ended. He ended it with a poem and some art and I'm like noooooooooooooooooo. I liked it. I get no closure. I wrote porny fanfic instead :rofl:

Agreed so hard! I hate that! I tend to be wary of new comics and prefer something from someone who either had a track record of finishing comics or has a decent sized backlog of comics to go through.
