Ohhs, the Salem Witch Trials were interesting indeed. I once wrote a short story based on them, since I used to live nearby Salem.

Yes they were, I'm I'm finding out some more about the whole Puritan religion as well. O.o
Yes, we eat a big breakfast and talk about stuff. Half the time it's mechanics or medicine. And the other half it's about government and spiritual things. The conversation never really leans toward "God" per say.
It's actually even more hilarious cause I'm the youngest one there. The rest are at least 10-20 years older than me. O.o Makes me wonder why I love it so.

@ White2Fire: The Puritans can be rather interesting at times as well. Some people say that the witch trials were just a ploy for land.
I think I've been to a group sort of like that before, but it in the afternoon, and not nearly so enjoyable. Well, I suppose you love it because they're enjoyable people to be with.

@White: Eh, nothing wrong with that. ^^ I'm busy updating my book list on Shelfari, a social networking site I just discovered. xD Luckily(or unluckily), this means carting armloads of books up and down the stairs, because I couldn't possibly remember all of my books.

I haven't checked the Cemetery since this morning. *shrug*

@ White2Fire: Ohs, that is true. Midwifes were apparently also commonly accused of being witches. Kind of weird, no? o.o

@ Risika: Yeah, I considered posting there but didn't, it was just WAAAAY to fast for me.

@Kidalanna: Sometimes it's not so bad, and others it's just insane. xD

And it isn't really surprising that midwifes were accused, considering they were usually also normal healers, and therefore intimately involved with most of the village. So if someone gets sick or loses a kid, she would be the most natural scapegoat.
