White: I actually love history, it's fascinating. Also it made us who we are, and it to a certain extend explains why, as an example, people from The States and People from Europe act so differently, even though we're both from the western side of the world

Ah that it does. But we didn't learn all that much about Europe. Or any other place for that matter. The US is kinda high and mighty. We need to be kicked off of our high horse rather soon.
That's kinda my opinion.
I don't mind history in a sense, it's just that I was taught it the boring way and haven't found all that much interesting. Although I've lately found other subjects that weren't delved into much during school that I kinda wish they did.

Yeah, it depends on how you are taught the subjects a lot, so I guess I had a good teacher to start with (Can't really remember) But when I really started to get interested, was when we started to learn about the witch burnings, up until then, you know, I believed that witches was just those evil ugly ladies in fairytales, but that kind of opened my eyes, on how the human race have behaved towards minorities for far too long...

Yeah, I only just read a book about that. We weren't given much information one way or another.
That and I went to a private Christian school so it was a little bit more biases.
Eh, as I read this book I began to think, the salem witch trials were rather like a popularity contest. And that's the kind of history I like. Not who won and who lost. Not who was in the wrong or right, but what the actions actually were.
Maybe I should check out some more history stuff from the library. Might be more interesting than the school books. ^^

I've read a lot of books about it, and Salem's nothing compared to what we did in Europe, and the Spanish Inquisition, I mean we killed millions of women and children, you could almost compare it to Holocaust, but Holocaust was only one country doing it, this was all of Europe, having a hate against women and everyone who was not a catholic or a protestant (Depending on which country you lived in, and wether your king was protestant or catholic). But yeah, the books you find in the library are way more interesting than school books. So you can say, we learned to appreciate freedom of worship the hard way ^^'
