Wow Lucifer, that's a great birthday! I haven't gotten anything from my parents after my seventeenth birthday since they said I was an 'adult' now and no longer required gift-giving from them, and that it's my turn to give them gifts XD;;

Well, my dad's b-day is next, so I plan to get him something special...he is very hard to get gifts for though...but I'll find something. I might could do him a drawing or something that shows a lot of effort and love...and then give him some cash on the side, just to let him know I give back.
The best thing about my birthday, strangely enough, was that we donated 18 boxes of clothes i have shrunken out of to the Salvation Army. Well, there were other things in those 18 boxes, but i felt giving people who have nothing something on my birthday was just as great as getting things for my birthday. ^^

Hey Kitty ^^
I agree! It feels pretty good to know that you're giving back to others. Our family donated a ton of clothes too every once in a while, that we never wear anymore. They might not be the prettiest clothes out there but at least they'll work in keeping someone warmed and clothed. @[email protected];
I have no idea what to give to my parents for their birthdays either. Usually it's just a hug, since they keep telling me they don't want gifts and I'm worried I might buy something they don't like.

Hello Vicky!
My dad is really hard to buy for too...we bought him a wii for christmas...he was pissed...so we have determined cash and a nice handmade gift or a crad/giftcard combo is just as good as anything...
My mom loves homemade things, and i like to write things for her and decorate them on the comp and with my art, she has several such framed, and finds it better than money or anything...
the rest of my family......i give up, they change wants like PMS style...

@Kitty: That would seem suspicious, since that particular kind of topic nearly never springs up in our family >.>;; She'd find out my intentions and just tell me not to get her anything. Arrgh.

Awesome, because I just had one of the best birthdays ever, and I turned 21, and it was just all fun.
@Fading: Sounds frustrating...also, did you know that dragon eggs won't hatch until they have 4 days or less left to live? And my current hatchlings are being quite stubborn on growing...but anywho, I hope you figure it out...a gift card to amazon.com might be good...you can buy a lot there, get a sweet card to put it in, and have anything on it she can afford and want...still, sounds frustrating...
So many friggin typos in one post.....>>
Well, i have to head out for now, homework to do and meteors to watch, I'll be in and out.

Hmm...I could consider the gift card thing. I just have to find a shop she's interested in. XD
As for the dragons, they won't hatch/grow up until they have at least less than 3 and a half days left. Some won't hatch/grow up until they have less than 3 days. It's frustrating because I hate waiting that long. -_- I'm getting myself a Red Dragon army...at least they have the Incubate option which speeds up the waiting time by one day.
