*waves* Good evening everyone ^^ I spent time in the event counterpart of this thread during the Celes event last week and thought I'd stop by to continue chatting with you all.

I've got a 1 year old puppy (all dogs are puppies) named Oliver ^^ He's the baby of the group so he's full of mischief.

I personally like cats just a smidge better, but I'm not going to discriminate.

I mean.. Come on, they're both so cute! And they all love to be petted and cuddled.

But for me, cats always had that gimmie factor more than dogs.

I grew up with both cats and dogs, I want to have the same for my own family when we start making a family. Cats tend to be more independent than dogs but I think that's part of their charm too.

I like both cats and dogs...so it's going to be a dilemma for me if I ever want to get myself a furry pet @[email protected];;

Toys are very important, Oliver has a special toy (called Oliver Junior or OJ since its a small white puppy to match him). No one else is allowed to play with OJ and he has to be in bed with Oliver at night. I honestly think Oliver thinks the toy is his baby puppy cause he gives it baths.

But cats need litter boxes cleaned too. I don't walk my dog since we've got a back yard. The first thing we did when we moved in was fence off a portion of the yard by our back door for his business area.

Litter boxes are easier to clean xD I've had a cat before, so I know ^^ I've never had a dog before though...so I'm kind of nervous about getting one @[email protected]

I think I'll stick with a snake for now :3 I can't wait until I get my own place so I can get one <33

Oh snakes are cool except for the feeding part >< I'd rather not embrace the circle of life that closely. Frogs was about it for me on that front, as soon as they grew up to be eating bugs as their diet it just freaked me out ^^;

Ack! I'm sorry I poofed for a bit, my brother was introducing a new game to me and we got carried away :gonk:

One of my dad's former students had a toad for a pet and she fed the toad small fish, so I suppose it's slightly less nasty...? :sweat:

A toad doesn't seem like a very fun pet.

Well...I guess it was fun to look at o_O; The toad she had was pretty colorful. Though in the end it ended up drowning itself because it was too fat and when it accidentally flipped over one day it couldn't flip back over, and thus drowned. >__>;

I'm not sure whether I should cry or lol at that x3

I used to keep corn snakes; you had to feed them baby mice, as they were quite small, which we bought frozen from a snake shop :)

lol Yeah, that was my reaction too...I was all, "Ehh?! o_____O" when I heard about the poor toad's demise from my dad .__.

I'm not sure if we have corn snakes here...some of them are pretty expensive D: There's one I have my eye on...I'm not sure what the English name for them is but they're a kind of boa I think, the females can grow up to around 2 meters long and the males 1.5 meters.

I'm sorry to butt in, but I think toads sound like they would make cute pets. Is it true that they give you warts, though? And snakes just sound scary.
