I had a fringe (I think that's what you call bangs), but I'm growing it out, somehow.. but my hair is just a really bad style at the moment. I have to clip it back or else it looks stupid. Last time I cut it myself because I didn't know what I wanted doing, and there was no point paying for something I could do myself.

I can't cut hair to save my life - whether it's my own hair, or a wig.

I haven't had mine cut or cut it in ages. I really don't know what to do with it >.<
I also tried to non-permanently dye it, but my hair is so dark it doesn't go any lighter. So my hair has gone dark dark red instead of light golden brown. I know I'd have to bleach it and permanently dye it to make it light golden brown.. but I don't want to bleach it.

My friend suggested to me to go to the salon and get some hair bleaching cream and bleaching powder - mix them together and put it in your hair. I dunno how long it would be, you'd probably have to ask a stylist about that. I'm planning to dye my hair burgundy but my hair's too dark for it to show except for being in the sun.

Yeah, my hair only shines a little bit of red (even though I haven't put red in my hair..) in the sun.

I've only dyed my hair once. I got a small blonde streak in the front. (I have brown hair) I'm thinking of doing something else though.

I've died my hair 2 times a year since I was twelve....im now sixteen, it's in quite crappy condtion. But, im not dying it anymore.... I want to see how I would look with brown hair...

I was born blonde, but as I got older it started growing in darker, so I started dying because I wanted to stay blonde. So I hope I look good as a brunette. >.<

It might look bad, but the red will fade to a pink so you might want to think of that.

Hmm. Blue would be nice, Red would be better. Don't have green.. that doesn't look too good, and someone I know had it and it went luminous yellow after a while. Purple's pretty common, especially on brown hair..

Hmm...Not a big fan of pink...Maybe I'll just go with blue...Or green. I saw a picture of someone who dyed part of their hair green, looked nice.

What shade of brown hair do you have, because you might want a light colour with dark hair or light with light?

Hmm...Well thanks for all the advice/suggestions. I think if it's a permanent dye it won't get lighter. So I'm still undecided but I think red seems like a good choice.
Maybe I won't get it anyways. XD

That dark, huh?

Yeah, It get's lighter in the summer but it's dark enough that when I got a blonde streak I left the dye in for the longest amount of time allowed. Otherwise it would have been orange. And it was the platinum blonde dye. >_> I got it to a light/medium blonde color.

My cousin told me to dye my hair to a dark purple before putting any blonde streaks in. She did it and it worked for her o.o but that was years ago. I still need to dye my hair and the box has been sitting on my dresser for days.
