if it makes anyone feel better, i named a dragon after one of my completely straight male OC's before it developed gender, and now it is a girl. Great thing is that you can't change the names...so WOO! I have once again converted a straight guy to transvestiteism. ^^

I find that using names that can be either male or female helps my drags (pun alert!) feel a little less out of place.

Was that your first drag, Red? My first drag was a balloon dragon too...Her name is Carne Mehr. Be on the alert, you might get an abandoned egg that has the Mehr heritage! All of my dragons are Mehrs...

Congrats on LilMrFattyDragon then! Adults are easier to handle...anyone know what the ones with bands of color are when they hatch? And how long does it take for the dragons to grow up???
I hate having to abandon the dragons as little ones...but i already had a pair have three eggs...so i abandoned them all......;.;
