*sighs* Sometimes I just want to scream... and it's mostly my mother's fault. *wants to throw something really hard against a wall and smash it to pieces too*

What happened Cadiwyn?

Just another one of our bickering/fight/talks....

Basically she doesn't understand my social anxiety at all, and she can't figure out why I have problems doing things that "normal" people would do. This time it had to do with this homework I've been working on. Basically I'm not going to be able to turn anything in because I just can't figure out how to do it. I've tried for multiple days now and have not gotten anywhere with it....

Her solution is to make a working-friendship with some one in my class so I can ask them when I have a question. That's a good idea, but for me it will never happen. I barely converse with the person beside me in class, and would never go so far as to be comfortable enough to ask them a question about stuff... even if I got comfortable enough I probably wouldn't be able to... it just makes me feel to stupid, ashamed, embarrassed....

She then told me that if I'm that anti-social then I really shouldn't be going to school because it's not going to help me any. That I'm not going to be able to make it in life unless I come into some money (which she said wasn't ever going to happen)....

*sighs* I'm just getting tired of having these conversations....

Cadi: my mom didn't either until I got and ulcer from it and dropped out of school now I'm on meds and were getting ready to see a psychologist

@Cadiwyn Ugh. That sounds depressing. No wonder you want to scream. I'm not too social myself, but I don't really remember what it's like to be that shy even though I was at one point. I remember enough to know what you mean, but not enough to remember how I got over it. Also, I did get over it, but I don't necessarily like being over it. I keep thinking that I've said something stupid whenever I talk, and I can't help wondering if people would rather I just shut up. My shyness has become a sort of lingering paranoia that doesn't really go away. My parents didn't make any real attempts to encourage me to have a social life, so I've never had that kind of conversation with either of them. We do have other conversations/fights that repeat themselves, so I know what you mean. Ours are usually about why I'm not normal, or why I like weird things. I get tired of them to, especially if they try to control what I do.

Maybe you and your desktop should go into counseling so you guys can settle your differences Amane, you should let your desktop tell you who is boss:no:
