@whitebeast: Cool choices. I agree with Y.Sora. They are all possible for you, and they'd look pretty fab, too. And if you get in a pinch (I know you said you are on a tight schedule month to month) you can cosplay as Naomi from Metal Gear Solid 4. Really easy.

@darkcrow1111: To do cosplays that most people don't do, you want to stay away from most recently licensed shonens and shojos as those are what is most popular. Look at the older or the very new animes (meaning still unlicensed - the hardcore otakus will recognize you) or lesser appreciated characters in popular pieces.
Okay, it's going to sound like I'm on a Metal Gear obsessed or something considering my message to whitebeast, but you and your cosplay partner can go as Naomi and Otacon! People don't normally cosplay as them for some reason. Both of their outfits are modest and they are/were a couple (she killed herself because she had cancer, and thought it was a fab idea to do it over video chat with him and his friends...?)
