Oh yeah, I love watching the ice skating too Tana. I can skate fast and backwards, but I can't do flips...
I guess my balance isn't good enough for that. I'm the same way, Named. I LOVE winter sports! I ski and snowboard. Those are my 2 favorite too... I watch track also, since I used to be in track in high school. |
I can skate backwards, and forwards, and do a turn...sorta, it's not perfect, but it works XD
and a friend taught me an easy trick. You go on one leg and the other behind you bent, it's called bad attitude XD |
I live in Texas, so I've never skied, ice skated or snowboarded XD
In fact it was about 78 degrees outside today! I'd love to try though, especially the ice skating |
I'm sure there are places you can go...there's some kind of indoor place out here in VA.....

@tana: Wow, that's awesome. How do you skate backwards? I always feel so awkward because I cant' see where I'm going and it makes me all nervous... Haha bad attitude, niice, I'll have to try that sometime. xD
@named: That's hot for Jan. Amazing! I've never been to texas... I'm from Cali, so today it was 40 f and it was raining all day... some of the mtns are capped with snow. |
It actually got down to 25-30 degrees for a few weeks but now it's back to being hot and humid.
The only time I see snow is when I go to Albuquerque to visit my mom and we got up into the mountains! I liked it for the first hour or so, then my nose and feet were freezing and I decided it was time to go XD |

This reminds me of a couple of friends going on about how one of them being a stalker. I don't know how that brought in a conversation of her hugging trees, and the pillars in school. XD :lol: Stalkers are strange and amusing that's for sure. :O |
