I love the Lucifer Duncan, there was one person I used to watch on DA that ended up selling the one they had.

It took me a couple of years before I got one and lucked out... And the reason why we like the limiteds, Fading Existence, is because they are so lovely and dolled up to match a higher price. The doll I am currently drooling over is a limited. >.<

Finals week. But thankfully it is finally over.

And my theory of limited is....Because what is rare we want. Just like what we can't have.

I compared them with some of the others that weren't limited on DoD and found that they just weren't as good as the limited ones...I haven't found one that I liked better than the Lucifer Ducan, Black Ducan, and Ducan yet. (what's with all these awesome ones being Ducans?! XDD)

I only found out they were limited and completely sold out after I saw them, and thought, "Hey I want that...*goes to check price*...Huh? What?! Sold out?!!" x_x

Well, there is still a chance to get one of them because people do sell dolls that they love less from their collection. Though I don't get on there, Den of Angels has its own marketplace where you could keep an eye out. http://www.denofangels.com/forums

Personally, I like dolls that look a bit more mature, not just a teenager or child. Typically, those tend to be limiteds. :( Pity.

I've been sketching out costume ideas to do with me doll but more than likely won't be able to start working on it till after finals are completed next week. And when I get a smidgen of money for my birthday so I can go buy the fabrics. XP

I've been looking at dolls on Doll-zone.com, and I found one I absolutely adore *o*

Her name is Demi :3

Making a doll takes a lot of patience, effort, and skill. There is a woman who makes porcelain ball-jointed dolls and I hope one day to take that route if I ever get access to our clay again (our house is in such disarray! ) This woman's dolls are so lovely, and she gives you a guide on a bit of the process that is done to create her dolls: The Enchanted Doll by Marina Bychkova

If I could buy one of her dolls, it would be the Princess Swan one in her costumed section. Most of her dolls, there is just something I don't like about their faces. :\ Though I do like Penelope in the nude doll section... Just wish she didn't have it so dark in the creases...

I probably won't have Arnorr's new outfit done in time for Christmas with all the hand sewing I have to do. (Sewing machine is down for the count. )

Well, she is the only one making them and all the hours it takes for the coats and for the beading in the costuming, it is well worth the price.

I would never have the chance at the Princess Swan one because... Well, I need a car, a website, more canvas, a DSLR, a 'new' sewing machine, a new laptop (mine is about 5 or 6 years and going! And has been in car crashes, on air planes... It has air bag battle scars! XD Anyways, it is falling apart. )

If I ever get money for another doll, though, I'd want to buy one that would fit the character of Arnorr's wife. She is so awesome and a bit... Odd for an elf. XD

With the way they present the DZ Demi in the pictures, it makes me think of some sort of off-spring of the White Rabbit. Perhaps a daughter of whom fashioned herself after the infamous Alice? A princess would be splendid! Royalty are always fun... And shiny... :D

My friend and I once create an RP world based on Lewis Carol's Wonderland and there was a hierarchy to the rabbits (yes, plural.) They were stationed in the center of the four kingdoms, living off the land the Mad Hatter's had lent to them (Mad Hatter's owned all the dividing property) and the rabbits lived in a large clocktower that doubled as sort of a university of sorts or information center for all kingdoms. It is quite complicated and I left out a bit of details, but just thought to throw an idea out there that you could possibly use to get the imagination going.

That sounds really interesting O .O I like the whole hierarchy with the rabbits ^^ And I've seen a doll on that web site with a Mad Hatter's hat. He's pretty awesome looking, yet a little creepy at the same time.
Right now I'm just doing some sketches of her xD (That sounds creepy for some reason) But I can't get her dress to look right .___.
