Haha, I borrow books from my mom all the time, but not art books. My dad was the one who used to draw a lot as a kid. I remember him making little funny pictures for me when I was little. So I guess he was my inspiration to start drawing more and more ^^

We have an entire line of people who draw in my family. We have an entire room set up just for painting, sewing and sorts. There is an entire wall of just art books, craft books and reference books. We simply refer to it as the sewing room due to the excess of fabrics. (And I am still mad at my sister-in-law for taking off with half of our dupioni silk. Gr. )

Frills aren't too, too hard. If I can find my one art book at home (like mentioned before, it is an utter mess right now,) I'll take a picture of how they demonstrate it. I lurves flowy fabrics and frills, so pretty!

My mom always encouraged me to draw and I've always been oriented to draw fantasy, though I did draw a geisha woman seated by a koi pond that one year for her birthday. ^^ My one brother, on the other hand, always made cards and his drawings consist of stick figures. They are great. XD He is two years older than me and is still doing it.

Thank you! Yes, that is Arnorr. He typically has white hair, but that wig died. I have my avatar looking somewhat like him, just lack of clothing. I love that doll on DZ (by the way, Arnorr is a DZ doll, too.) I think the dark look suits that doll.

His white wig tangled incessantly and the threads of his wig were coming undone... He was balding! D: Most unsettling! I never had that problem with the default wig he came with, a long silver, nor the braided red one from Ebay or the current blonde/silver combo one from yet another Ebay store. I need to get him another excessively long white wig.

His mold is in the 'Special DZ' section, he is the Ian doll.

Elven ears are the smex, I have an obsession with them. It is rare that a drawing goes without a pair of elven ears attached to a character's head. XD

Try hand sewing, it can be annoying at times and take 5 times as long to complete a project, but it is more rewarding, at least to me, than creating something by sewing machine because you did it without a machine's help. (Wow, run-on sentence... )

I love tea excessively. I have at least one cup a day. A couple of my favorite teas are... Republic of Tea's Blackberry Sage tea, Twinning's Lady Grey tea, Republic of Tea's rose black tea (loose leaf,) and Tzo of Tea's (I think that is their name, I do not recall entirely) chamomile and lavender (loose leaf) tea. A tea cup or tea pot plushie would be freakin' awesome.

Agreed right down to the color of eyes. And funny thing... Arnorr was almost named 'Dream,' but I couldn't find just the right translation of the term that I liked. (Most of the names I choose are from dead languages, haha. )

I rarely fall asleep in my classes, but it would come in handy between classes.

Understandable. My mother is an insomniac and actually will pass out randomly in the middle of the day. At best, she gets about four hours of sleep.

I lurves dead languages. This name is translated from Latin and means "White Rose Gardens." Arnorr's name is Old Norse for 'Eagle' and his last name, Rosarius, comes from the same adjective that was used in neuter plural form to be this name and means 'Liken to Roses.' Pardon my nerdality. (New word creation! Hu-zah! )

Like I said, I am a nerd. When I create a character to RP with, draw, or do a story on, there is a hidden meaning behind their name. It typically takes me about 15-30 minutes just to decide on a name for a creation. One of the simpler name meanings (pertaining to language) is a recent character I created that is a bit off her rocker and is in a Victorian sanitarium. Her true name is Cassandra 'Rosa' Mays, but she only answers to ' Magnolia Pitcher." Magnolia was chosen because she is actually a southern belle only moved to London because of her husband, and Pitcher is a historical reference from the Revolutionary War. Molly Pitcher - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I won't fill up more space explaining her true name.

Anyways, it is fun. Arnorr is a character that spans over different story lines and has even taken over other characters. The blonde wig matches him perfectly to the character Dream (hence why he was almost named that.) But I has an obsession with white skinned, long white haired and vibrant blue eyed male characters. XP

I have an obsession with... Blue, purple, silver and gold eyes. I am playing with the idea of turning Arnorr's eyes two tone, but that fits his wife's character more... Though it would fit Dream's character. Blue and silver with that golden-silver wig. Just remember that you can easily change out eyes and wigs. XP

With the economy the way it is, it wouldn't matter how old you are, you probably still wouldn't have a job just like me. That is why I want a website and get the house clean so I can make stuff to sell on Etsy.
