I remember when I was in second grade we had to do this spelling bee thing for a day care center. There was a mix of 2nd and 3rd graders and we were all divided into 2 teams (mixed)
Well the word was giraffe, and almost everyone trying to spell the word didn't know how to. All the people trying to steal the word didn't know how either until it got to me.

and I remember in first grade when we were learning words that ended in ing. I thought I made up a word "building" cause I added ing to build. xD

I was pretty good at spelling in elementary school too, I remember one time I think I got a word wrong and i was so up set, I almost started crying in class, like I teared up. >w> /pathetic

ugh I hated when we had reading time or whatever. We all had to sit on the carpet in the middle of the class and my foot would go numb ALL THE TIME. D:

I'm usually good at remembering how words are spelled. Like if I see someone's name once (and it's not some long ass name like shoquandarolanda) or with special spellings (... I can't think of one. but stuff with silent letters) then I'll usually remember it.

I didn't know how to spell Phoebe for a while, and I was talking to Ivy once, and I wanted to say her name, cause I was watching Friends and she did something. And I said "blah blah blah ....uh..."Feee beee" the blond chick, blah blah blah'd" and the Ivy laughed and told me how to spell it =w=

lmfao see, her name I would remember for some reason. like in my head I have a list of "words that trick you" and whatnot, and Phoebe would trick me because of the OE in the middle. D< it makes no sense.
Looks like it would say "Foe be!"

Ivy said that's how she learned how to spell it cause in Hey Arnold[[man I miss that show]] someone called her "Foe Bee" and then she corrected em by saying "Feee Beee" and Ivy has remembered ever since, and I still never do. >w>
