ah, my dad is a truck driver :D I like to drive but I don't think it'd want to drive a semi.....

the biggest thing that most 4-wheelers don't seem to realize (junding by the actions I've seen) is how long it takes us to stop.... or rather, how much longer .... if they knew, I'm betting there wouldn't be as many accidents! :yes:
yeah, mine did too... but it was basically nothing more than the "No Zone" poster.... they didn't really go over anything that would've actually convinced most people. |
or the fact that sometimes you need 2 lanes to turn around a corner and some idiot decides to slip around up to the corner.... I've watched them get pulled away by the semi.... it was horribly hilarious....

:rofl: I had a driver tell me about how a car tried to pass him in the curve of an on-ramp, with cement barriers on both sides! :lol: the cops wrote the guy a ticket (of course, it was a 1-lane ramp) and they had to pull him out with a crane, because he was wedged in, with one set of tires riding up onto the barrier. Neither vehicle could move!

*nods* yeah.... that's why I'm such a cautious driver, though. It may piss off some more aggressive people, but screw'em. I'm not about to endanger my life. Besides, I've already been through one roll-over accident. And, it's not something I'm anxious to repeat.

yea, I've narrowly escaped a few accidents myself. idiots shouldn't drive on ice....

*nods* I agree.... but, I hate having to drive at all in the winter anyway... it's too difficult to keep the windshield and mirrors clean, much less having to deal with stupid drivers and inclement weather to boot! :roll:

yeah, I know what you mean. :heart: I LOOOVE pick-up trucks! *sigh* I really want to get one once I get my finances straightened out... right now I don't actually have a personal vehicle. I mean, I do have the S-10 I inherited from my dad, but my sister still hasn't sent the the title, so I can't get it repaired and registered yet. |
I'll get one someday... maybe but the insurance is higher and such so I dunno... maybe if something happens to my versa...
you should be able to get repairs without a title... just not registered.... |
Mmm... my boyfriend will be the one doing the work, and he refuses to do it before i get the title because it still wouldn't be drivable.... I dunno... seems like an excuse to procrastinate to me. *shrugs*
my last vehicle was a dodge stratus, and it tried to kill me.... before that I had a '90 pontiac sunbird, that my dad gave me as a graduation present. it was definitely worn, but it was a great little car.... too light for me though... every time I got on the highway with it it would shake from the wind of passing vehicles, or any speeds over about 55mph :lol: I'd still have it if my sister hadn't thrown a rod in the engine trying to hot-rod it. |

*nods* I'm the same way. I get very attached to my vehicles. I even went and bought a sticker for my S-10 that says "If you value your life as much as I value this truck you'll keep your hands off it!" :lol: I love it!
