I hate yogurt....unless its frozen.

I don't usually eat such healthy foods but I've been wanting foods with calcium. So I bought a lot of yogurt, and milk.

that's so totally nasty!! that's the most least ideal snack I can think of!!

Don't have too much calcium. You can get kidney stones. My sister went on a yogurt diet, and had it for breakfast lunch and dinner and totally had to go to the hospital after a week x_X

I've never had a kidney stone *knock on wood* And I'm only having maybe one serving a day. I haven't even drank the milk because I need it to cook with. But when I'm craving something, my body obviously needs it. Maybe that's why I had such bad cavities not too long ago. But now that my mouth looks like the freaking cave of wonders, I'm ok... *knock on wood*

Not gold but that siler looking thing. And that's what I thought of when they were doing the fillings... all shiny in there now :lol:

i got dental insurance with the last job i had so i totally used it all up and i had cavities fixed with the laser... it was amazingly painless and quick... i couldn't believe it

my cavities were very small and I don't remember how they were filled. It was when I was something like 12

If your bones need calcium they will steal it from your teeth making them weaker and more suceptible to cavities. My cavity started out small, this last one, and then I got a bad filling that cracked and it hurt for 3 years! i went to the dentist a few times and they were like, your bite is probably off or something. Only this last one did some x-rays and by that time it had gotten really bad. So I had to get a root canal. But it doesn't hurt anymore! :boogie:

i didn't get my first cavity until i was like 14 years old... i was so sad i actually cried lol
after i got my braces taken off i had too many to count... (well, that's exaggerating a bit) and now apparently i am a 'high risk' case... i'm sure the docs will tell you anything to get you to keep coming in and spending your money on the things you need and the treatments they say you need

I only trust a dentist as far as I can throw him. And I'm no wonder woman here! I think they are all out to just keep you coming back by doing crappy jobs. And when you are all numbed up you can't really tell WHAT they are doing. Sneaky, sneaky.
