thanks for the grin. and of course there would have to be really cool spiffy technology ships but only the rich and powerful coorporations have them and the rest of the world is pretty poor and has makeshift shifts made of rift raft.

good point. but ew, the top of the ocean would get really nasty. the people in the cities with money might have their bodies destroyed somehow, but I'd say most of the population doesn't live in the cities. even less so than in the real world nowadays. there will always be 3rd world contries.

50 years sounds good, evolution wise I'm guessing we're starting to grow webbed feet and hands and maybe fins? Also we'll need to develop low-light vision *nods*

I'd say no on fins, but yes on the rest. definitely low light vision and really pale skin from no light and like....hm, I wonder what their diet is and if it will effect they way they look like you turn orange from eating carrots.
