I like her well enough... but I would like it more if I could get her picked by others... I've tried so hard for so long to get picked by admin's pick... and now I learned of users pick and I can't seem to get nominated by them either...

Aw well forget about the admins pick and users pick and all and just try your best and login the next day or after some days you will see your avi in the spotlights :) (something like this happened to me in another website)

we were talking about fun stories we've had with reading in my writing class today. the teacher told us how Frankenstein was her favorite book as a kid. she read it for the first time when she was 6.

wow. that is pretty nifty. I haven't seen or read it... but I watched Van Helsing the movie about, well, dracula and this guy who saves the day... and there was a version of frankenstein there...

there's a version of frankenstein in van helsing? I never actually saw the movie so I wouldn't know. Frankenstein is a really hard book to read though. I read Dr. Jeckle and mr hyde in junior high and i only finished it because I was bored and very determined.

There is! I like it a lot. There was a fellow who was experimenting on ways to kill Dracula. Nothing his family had tried for generations had worked. They had tried crosses, silver bullets, holy water, stakes, etc. Nothing worked at all. Their family couldn't enter heaven until Dracula was dead... and there was only one person left in the family. Dracula was eager to kill her.

Van Helsing came along, legend at killing strange creatures. He worked for the Church and had an arsenal of cool stuff that one of the more nerdy monks invented. He shows up in Transilvania and meets... dun dun dun... the girl. Her brother is actually also left but gets turned into a werewolf. He ends up dying.

Van Helsing kills one of Dracula's brides. Dracula and the remaining two brides are upset and their plan to create children fail. That is why they want Frankestein... the only creature known to be brought to life. And yeah...

Van Helsing through a series of events including a masquerade where everyone else is actually a vampire finds a way to kill Dracula. His one weakness is... werewolves. Van Helsing kills Dracula, but turns on the girl. She gets the anti werewolf venom in him right as he is killing her... so she dies.

And everyone feels better somehow in the end.

okay. that sounds interesting. not at all like what I saw of the Dracula movie.

It is much better I think... personal opinion of one who likes her epic music and lots of action ^_^

well I have heard of the music score for van helsing. I like that guys compositions. they're so epic.
