Pfft.~ Of course. XD
I also do it sometimes just because.. It's also good for your abs. 8D Minus the um, arm flailing bit. That can be left out, hehe.

I have bad dreams, and strange dreams. Lately they've been stranger more than bad, but I still don't want to remember - because the strangeness is.. unsettling. I've been trying to coach myself into lucid dreaming, but I can never seem to tell when I'm dreaming and when I'm not, save for when I'm finally awake. Even then, some dreams are so real that I mistake them for reality, until reality proves it to be fiction. oxo

*flails*
I am, but I can't because I can't tell when I'm dreaming. You have to know that you're dreaming to lucid dream..

Because then you can control your dreams. *o* And I'll be able to defeat my fears.

Ahh~ I got a book for cheap at a half price bookstore, and it's all about lucid dreaming..
It's pretty much
1) Teach yourself to remember your dreams
2) Teach yourself to recognize when you're dreaming and when you're not
3) Don't get overexcited within a lucid dream, because it may wake you up

I've finally gotten a good memory for dreams.. now to recognize what is real and what is not. It sounds easy, but I've found it.. unsettlingly difficult...

I'm not sure what the dream fears represent in real life, though. If I can face them in my dreams, maybe I'll learn what they're all about? :)

I guess that's a way to go about it. dream fears lead to real life fears. usually I find them easy to point out though.

Mhmm @[email protected]
I kept a dream journal in the beginning of my quest.
It actually really helped.

Instead of getting out of bed immediately after waking (especially to turn off an alarm clock), pause for a moment and ask yourself - what was I just dreaming? Take 30 seconds to run through the key events of your dream so you can remember and maybe write it down later.
I find that this also helps me to wake up fully. Most of the time I half-wake, turn off my alarm, and then go right back into bed and fall asleep. XD

keeping a dream journal for a class just made me dream my dreams on repeat so I could write them down later except every time the dream would repeat, I'd lose more information.

wow that's interesting... i'd like some dreams to pick up where they left off though, but repeating sounds almost boring unless it was an amazing dream

Oh, that would be strange. :gonk:

I have some recurring dreams, but with twists each time... I come to recognize dream 'realms'.
I wish I wouldn't. Because if I recognize them, my mind says 'this place is real'...

Linnea, I've had dreams like that before! I hate it! :gonk: It's like living another life.

repeating is annoying. I end up with just a phrase or an image of a cellphone by the time I'd done repeating.
though in other cases, I've had the same dream months apart and I remember and change it.

oh i didn't think of that, rainbows... the 'other life' part cause now that you mention it, you're totally right... that'd be very weird and you'd always wonder what the dream is and what is reality D: i'm freaking myself out here, people!

Yeah. That's what I'm struggling with right now. I know that I am awake right now, but my mind recalls bits from dreams that have become a part of my 'reality' - and some things that I wasn't paying attention to in the waking world become fuzzy, like a dream memory! ;A;
