I bought a lot of yogurt at wal-mart. Mmm... And veggies. I think I haven't been eating enough of the two. Need more calcium in my diet! lol... so I got a daily vitamin too... *sigh* I just never remember to take it <.< Doesn't do much good that way...

Awww... I wonder what i'll have. Hmm... I have ramen and the mac n cheese... and yogurt... and... veggies. lol... I don't think that I eat actual meals anymore. It's just me so I don't need to cook anything. I know if my husband was here I'd still be cooking whole meals. I miss cooking. I like cooking with all fresh ingredients and taking my time to make stuff. Or letting something marinade all night. Mmmm... Chicken on the grill that's marinaded! Yummy!!

Divorced!? Heck no! lol.. he's "deployed" right now though they are still training in MS for about 2 more weeks. And I'll be deploying in 2 weeks. Army. Sucks X(

Oh, when we're deployed she's with my mom. ^^ Getting spoiled rotten with grandmother. lol. And my hubby's son is with his mom being spoiled too. Haha...
I want to have my own business.. a coffee shop/bar. Haha.. or a pet store. But I think I'm gonna go to school to be a physical therapist to stay in the medical field. Should be an easy, laid back job, and I shoudl have lots of time off! Haha! I want to do more than be at work all the time! |

I know what you mean. When you're the boss it's hard to have time for yourself. But I've worked so long for other people, in jobs that you don't know if you're going to keep or not with the economic stuff going on, I just decided I need to be my own boss, depend on myself for work. Not an emplyer.

I've seen enough small businesses in my area go under that I have a harder time seeing business ownership as being much more secure than a regular 8 to 5... But I get where you're coming from.

Well it depends on what kind of business you are opening. Some types of things, like bars, are always in demand. Especially when the economy is bad. People want to drink their cares away.

It's all about supply and demand, what's needed in that area, is the area growing, is it stable in population. Stuff like that. All about demographics.

Sure is... I'd like to invest though. I want to do some investing before I leave but I don't have time to find a good investor for me and something good to invest into. I don't want to throw my money into something and then lose it all... so I'll just wait til I get back. I want somethign that can earn money and I don't have to think about it. :P

This is true. And my area? Not growing. And it's probably not a great sign when, in your area, a chiropractor closes his downtown practice and that storefront is now occupied by a bail bondsman... oO

That's why I decided to open up more north. Jacksonville is booming. Construction everywhere and a lot of demand for more stores. |
