Not much going on here, hoping to catch someone online for a chat. Its pretty boring for a Saturday night, sadly not even yaoi can keep me entertained. |
Waiting for MJ to get out of work. Then she's coming over for the night. She has to be out of the house before she usually wakes up... so she's sleeping over. Then we get to watch FMA:Brotherhood tonight and make ice cream cone cupcakes in the morning -swoons- yay for stuff to do.. -giggles- maybe play monopoly or something with my brother and his girlfriend if they're home and Post in the RPs I'm in.. -tilts her head- all in all a boring day so far.. but i did sleep until 4 PM.. so I've only been awake for like 5 hours....

just got home from work :P hey has anyone else come across someone who asks for critique on something then gets all pissed when you don't rave about whatever is it? was in this art thread on another site and someone was asking for critiques and whatnot on her art and she's getting all bent out of shape because i said it wasn't a bad attempt >> i gave her some constructive criticism before but all she seems to focus on is that line..."but overall not a bad attempt" anyways thoughts? |
Yeah.. I have a few friends like that.. one got over it.. mostly it was because she saw the problems herself but hadn't corrected yet before she asked us what we thought.. the other isn't a friend anymore.. and she would always pitch a fit if you noticed something that was wrong with her work.. needless to say she didn't make it as an art major...

-nods- Well, I find that quality of art also has to do with the age of the artist... Do you have any idea of how old she is? What we my consider as nothing could be 'amazing' to a 13 year old. -scratches her cheek- but constructive criticism shouldn't bother them if they really want to become a better artist.

I was wondering that myself actually >> its hard to guess the age of someone when you only know them on the web..
but im guessing probably around 13 or older and i know when i was that age i would have bitten someone's head off for giving me crit.. course at the time i wasn't asking for it XD either way i didn't think i was being that mean or anything T_T and its actually kinda upsetting to me that i made her that upset when i didn't mean too XD im not very good at confronting people about these sorts of things... |

I luff the yaoi!! <3 I've been writing it for a while now and I love everything about it, totaly fan girl xD Love things like SoraXRiku (kingdom hearts) and random anime things, although It sucks when I really like some people in something, and can't find anything about that pairing on t'internet! Xp Yaoi will last forever =3

im baaaaaaaaack but very distracted XD its the gold medal hockey game Canada VS the USA
GO CANADA!!!!! WOOOOOOO LETS GET GOOOOOLD AND SET AN OLYMPIC RECORD FOR MOST GOLD .... sorry had to get that out, the game just started and if we win this we'll have the most gold medals every won in the winter olympics XD i don't even like hockey and I'm so excited about this anywho yaoi :P |
