Reyo is at Papa Sweden's sister's house in Miami right now. The three of us girls are sitting at the dining room table, quietly using our laptops. The guys, Papa Sweden's brother and cousin, decided it would be a good idea to come downstairs and play "bother the girls" for a while. Reyo's laptop is facing the kitchen, which is where the guys are. As such, whatever is on her screen gets commented on if they can even remotely recognize it..... Reyo wants to fucking STRANGLE them all..... :angry:

I can, but I don't want it commented on. They flipped out earlier when they saw my Yaoi PJ Party badge. It was actually pretty funny. They had seen the PG side of the badge, but then they turned it around to the PG-13 side and they were all "WOAH GOD!!!" The three of us fujoshi in the house were cracking up! It's getting close to 11:30 now, though, and none of us are in the mood to put up with them. The worst part about this is that the cat keeps trying to chew through my laptop's power cord.

I actually live half way between Orlando and Tampa Bay. I wanted to go the the Harry Potter Park SO BAD when it opened!!! I couldn't because I'm a broke college student, though.

Reyo has a permit, but she's scared to drive. Her family's driving has seen to that quite thoroughly.

but my friends mama (who is messy's second and better mama) said she'll take me to get my permit and take me out driving in secret with her daughter so when i get my license my mom wont be able to tell me to get rid of it ;D |
I've got just over a year until I'm old enough to drive... but I'm absolutely terrified that I'll kill somebody on the road or something :sweat:

Well, eventually you'll hit something non-human. I haven't squished more than bugs on the windshield yet, but I'm waiting until the day when a squirrel or skunk goes underwheel. Not intentionally, I just know it happens. I slowed down gently for a squirrel once and my mom yelled at me - "don't slow down for a squirrel!!" so I can only protect critters in my own vehicle.
Plus, once animals stare at your headlights, they're sunk. They just stay right there, frozen. My mom hit a fox like that on the highway. It just wouldn't move. Mom and I were all 'aaaaa' and you can't slam on your brakes on the highway - it just isn't safe. I felt bad for the poor thing. :( I just hope it died on impact and didn't suffer. |
The problem with me driving is I've got ADD, so I'm easily distracted :sweat:

Lol, well, that can be a problem, but it can also be an asset, because while you do have to concentrate, you also have to switch your focus all the time from one thing to the next. It might be up or down for you. My brother has ADD/ADHD - I don't know if they combine them or not in the medical field right now, that confuses me - and he can drive pretty well. He has had his accidents, not gonna lie, but he can drive! Lol. I attribute his accidents moreso to his lack of experience before he was handed his license than anything else. Plus him just making silly decisions like driving too late at night without knowing what to do going up a hill, etc.

Fair enough. I've still got over a year till I'm able to drive anyway.
