its alright, my rps have me uber distracted.

My RPs are time consuming too...and schoolwork and Everquest 2 and my husband and work. Life is busy. ^_^' I love you guys though! *huggles* Just wanted to say it. You all keep me sane...by letting me relieve stress by being crazy. ^_^

I need a certain level of sanity to be the voice of reason for my bipolar husband. ^_^' I let out my crazy in silliness so I don't succumb to some of my more destructive crazy urges.

:3 it turned quickly into a forbidden romance but one character is a demigoddes of fire and my char is a fire eater from the phoenix clan who can take the shape of a phoenix. he was cursed by a god for turning evil. its so fun!!!

Glad to hear you are having fun with it. I'm in three RPs right now. Two YuYu Hakusho based ones and one Naruto based RP. They are quite fun though the Naruto one is in a slump.

I see cool. I prefer original material stuff but I'm familiar with both of those animes. I have lots of rps, but I'm really only paying attention to one right now. if chaos and the portal get posts I'll pay attention to them, but I'll stick to my new one for now. its already 6 pages long and I started it last night. O_o

I prefer fan based RPs for forum roleplaying. It usually keeps the godmoding and mary sues to a minimum. I play D&D and other pen and paper RPGs with original characters irl.

I've never done D&D though I want to. it sounds like a lot of fun. I mostly rp with my best friend so we already have a chemistry and no godmoding. (well she is a goddess :P) I'm not too into group rps and I feel stiffled in fan based rps.

*shrugs* To each their own. ^_^ I play D&D with my hubby and our friend. A bigger group would make things run more smoothly but we have no other friends in our area that play. Fan based RPs are really only fun if you are obsessive enough to want to take the characters and get inside their heads.

I have problems getting into other characters heads. I'll base off of their universe, but I never write non original characters. I'm primarily a writer so rping is just something I do on the side to sharpen my skills and be crazy.

I write fanfiction too so this does sharpen my skills at characterization. I write original characters too but it is good practice and very relaxing to throw myself into being someone else for a while.

hm, I kinda wish I could do that. I did this lord of the rings rp once but it didn't get far so I don't know if i could have gotten into their heads. I'm rather fond of aragorn and legalos.

I like LoTR. Never wrote much for it. A bit of escapism keeps me from breaking down at times. Real life is very stressful. So, prayer and RPing are my therapy.
