@Kat: Yeah. Although I haven't been inspired to paint for around a year now. But yesterday I got an idea to at least get me going, even if its a simple painting xD

that's great clarius! I'm not much of a painter myself but if I paint I do love my watercolors.

That's cool, always nice to feel inspired to create something. Even if it is a simple idea it can turn into something beautiful or fun.

@Kat: I'd like to try out painting with watercolors, I just don't have the brushes for it. And right now I'm using stuff that I bought before I had bills to pay xD

@Star: Exactly. One day I hope to make money off my paintings, even if its only $10-$20. For right now though, I need to have fun and find my style... Which is so hard x_X

I honestly don't know much about brushes right now since I haven't taken any classes on painting. I just sorts picked it up. I take drawing classes. I've used my brushes with ink, acrylic, and watercolor before.

I wish I could make money with my art but I'm just not good enough yet.

I once made $30 drawing a wedding portrait for a co-worker's mother. She gave me way too much for it. Wasn't even in color.

The only reason I know about the paint brushes is because I did a research paper contrasting oil, acrylic, and watercolor paints. Oils typically use courser brushes, while watercolors use the softest most absorbent brushes. I have ones that will work for watercolors, but I have an excess of acrylic paint right now xD

then it sounds like what I have is good for watercolors. I have some of almost all art supplies except copic markers and oil paint because I've had to buy it for art class. I should use my acrylics but my last class kinda made me hate them. I don't think I used them well.
