I have been posting around the forums for a bit. Joined just yesterday. Right now, I decided that it'd be swell to have a single thread to post to right about now. Preferably this one, then.
So I ask, come talk to me.
Yes, I am new here. No, I am not a moron. I have done forums and such before. Yes, my avatar is naked as of this post.
We can just chat, or we can play "Ask Luck," which was a brief stint I did on YouTube where I answered questions people asked. About me, opinions, nonsense, etc. I'll answer just about anything. Doesn't mean it will be "right" or what you want to hear.
But anyway. Come talk to Luck.
ETA: PS: I dislike the default britches. And no, I don't want different britches. I want clothes one day.

Sorry, I had to select the one about being a jerk. How are you enjoying your stay here at Menewsha so far? Hopefully you've come to see what Mene has to offer along the lines of random topics.

Seems all right. Clothes are a bit expensive. Some threads are irking me, but that can happen in any forum, ne?
I don't quite know how random the topics truly are, per se, coming from Gaia years ago... but hey. I just want a new place to talk and play. Let us see if this becomes a habit.

Hello, while I think this is more suitable for the hangouts forum, I'm sure in due time a moderator will move it there if that is true.
What kind of threads irk you?

Ok, perhaps not so much the thread itself but some of the posts that happen.
There is a diet thread someone just posted where the discussion moved briefly to railing on "fat cosplayers." Severely blind intolerance is rather revolting to me. Technically I also therefore need to stay out of the debate forum, because by its very nature, there will be people that I'd end up debating with that may fall under such a category, in my eyes.
While "irk" is less appropriate of the word, I am mildly bugged by the mass-post answer threads where there ends up being little to no discussion had after everyone posts their own answer to the question at hand. The threads that are a bunch of pages long where it becomes hard to try and respond to things that are a few days old while still keep up with the newest things being mentioned. But that is a common forum problem, not just here.
I apologize for not seeing the hangouts section. I confess I still do not see it. What larger forum is it under? x.x;;

Well, some of the topics range from Zombie Apoc, all the way to what you are craving at the moment. Though I do share your dislike for the whole "bashing" that happens in threads, but it be the internets and people turn to monsters when they think nobody will be able to do anything about it.

Having been on the internets forever and a day doesn't mean I agree with people taking the cover of anonymity to get away with whatever.
Its like hating cancer. Most people hate cancer. We try to do things about cancer to make it go away, but very often cancer just wins. And it sucks.

Ah... well... I'm sure there are things we all do that aren't tolerated by others...
So I guess in a sense you hate when people are bias?
It's right here. Just report your thread and in the details box ask if it can be moved to the hangout forum... or I could do so for you if you want =)

Oh for certain that we all do something that bothers at least one other person. And I am certain I am quite guilty of that, myself. I don't try to, but its an inevitable I have faced.
Bias is very annoying. Especially when there's poor justification for bias. But again, there are likely some things I am biased of, as well.
I never said I am not annoyed by myself. >.>

Well... bias is inevitable... even I find myself bias at times though not as much as most... though I'm strongly against a lot of things I try to see the viewpoint of the other side as well. ^^ Actually why I like debates... because they sometimes help me to learn other people's opinions and to value them instead of thinking they are wrong no matter what.
What kind of things are you bias about do you think?

Lady Gaga. I dislike her to a great degree. She dresses like a slut, has offensive lyrics, and is just in general does nothing for positive portrayals of women.
One thing is that at least with many of my biases, there is at least some logic or reasoning behind it.
I pride myself on attempting to be open minded as much as possible. Usually it is the opinions that are based on closed-minded feelings that I find to be the most offensive. Some debates are fine. Some of the ultra heavy-handed and never-going-to-be-settled topics (gay marriage, abortion, death penalty) just get me frustrated because I can speak logic and cited fact til I turn blue and people will not change their mind.
ETA: I am certain there are other things I am biased about. That was just one quick and dirty example.

Hmm... *googles* well... >.>" the shorts ARE kinda short...
True... I see your reason behind disliking how she dresses... though some people don't have "shame" over showing "too much"... though I respect someone's dress code as long as I don't have to see their underwear if the wind blows or they bend over to pick something up >.>"
*sigh* Gotta love it... but I once ran into a HEAVY christian who was pushing his beliefs on others... and it was, like you say, it's offensive even if he were right he was still being bias.
Another thing is when people use obviously false information to support their bias... >.<
Edit - (I'm gonna fall asleep soon... so if I don't reply I will in the morning)

The tragedy of "obviously false" information is that odds are good that the person using said information believes in the truth of the "fact." And that is all that matters to them.
And potentially even the biggest falsehoods backed up with good reaso, can be a winning debate. Its often in the skill of the debaters going head to head.
Take care and goodnight :) It was lovely chatting.

@Clo: I enjoy high fantasy. Magic worlds, dragons, sorcerers, rogues, etc. It doesn't seem to be the most popular thing in my brief scanning of the 1x1 requests, though. Everyone wants romance or vampires... or mental patients? That one makes me cringe hard because many people don't know the reality of mental patients/illness. All they have are what Hollywood says, and that is soooo off. x.x
@Kaze: First off, you have an avatar my sister'd die for. She's a big fan of pandas. Nextly, I don't seem to have patience for the games so far. It wasn't earning enough for the time spent. Might as well post, ne?

Sisters must love pandas? o.o;
Technically the only person I know that collects panda items is my sister. I seem to be doing more of the collecting for her, though. Any time I see a panda something I end up getting it for her. She doesn't much have a place to store it all anymore and has asked me to stop! :O
I truly don't know why the heck I said ne again. Its been quite awhile.
And my boyfriend loooves tower defense games. I meanwhile suck at them.
