Hold the Stars
 

Welcome, all!

I'm just getting back on my feet here after disappearing for several months. I didn't really feel comfortable crashing anyone else's party, so I decided I'd give starting my own hangout a shot.

I'm not really big on contests and giveaways and all that sort of such and such. I just want a place for myself and others to make new friends and hang out with old ones.

As for rules, there's a link at the top of the page. Follow those, and we should get along just fine.

If there comes a time when I need more "administration" stuff, if you will, I'll just add it to this post.

Oh, yeah. As for "Hold the Stars", that has many meanings for me, so it seemed like a good thing to call this place.

Saw this and thought why not. I always feel awkward about crashing in on threads myself. Plenty of people to talk to but its hard to break into a thread. Also welcome back to Mene

Wow. People actually posted in here, and I was gone. I feel bad now...

What's "hold the stars" mean? Mostly, it reminds me that the God who holds the stars in his hand also holds us. (Yeah, I'm religious. Trust me, you wouldn't like me if I wasn't.)

As for all the thank yous, you're welcome. ^^ It seems to me that many people don't even want to try making new threads. All of the ones I've seen have posts in the thousands... ^^;

I love the title! I always say "Reach for the stars, you never know what they have in store for you," I'm a dancer and it's something that I keep close to myself. ^^ Well use to dance... >>;; haven't danced in 5 years! That's since I graduated! o.o -runs to the studio to try and start it up again- No wonder why I've been gaining weight! LoL

I use to dance as well. Sometimes, I miss doing it...

OMG! I walk around town listening to my MP3 Player and at random times I think cars think I'm retarded. I'll just stop and bust a move it too funny! Some people hook and stuff. You should try it! Once I dressed up as a neko and walked around town. You wouldn't believe the looks I got. Even people at work were like "You look like those people that I never even dream of becoming friends with. You know the people I avoid." I just cracked up laughing! Ahh.... Good times!

Sometimes when I have my iPod on me in town, I start dancing slightly. lol
That or I'll randomly dance every now and then and my boyfriend will just give me a weird look and smile lol

Yup yup. I'm too random! Not sure what I wanna do next yet. LoL but whatever I decide I bet I'll get some funny looks and glares!

It is! I think it helps in getting lots of friends too! Because man I have a lot and they it all the random stuff I do! I just have to loosen them up sometime and get them to join me! LoL Now that would be awesome!
