Or not in your pants lol, most definitely. I know I run into a lot of gender issues in the real world due to being trans. I'm not quite at the correcting people stage, but I absolutely HATE being called Ma'am, miss, lady, she and all that while at work. I understand my friends slipping up because they known me for X amount of time and I was keeping it quiet then. In fact I'm having lunch with a friend I had since grade school who I finally told yesterday.
On an avi sight like gaia, and here I can see why people judge by your avi. If an avi is female people assume your a female and so on. I know a guy on Gaia who has a female avi and it's all done up in pink dresses and all that. He gets hit on by guys all the time but he ends up telling them that he's actually a straight guy and that confuses the hell out of people lol.

I've been called both "miss" and "sir", though usually not by the same people on the same day. If you don't mind, I'm going to go ahead and throw a friend invite your way, seth, so that way you can see some of my irl pictures.

but I identify with my gender, I used to cross dress for online pictures when I had shorter hair for identity safety...but that was when I had b-c's not hte massive mounds I have now. I just wish guys would take their look and look away instead of staring at them all the damned time, I like low cut shirts

I told my mom about my poseing as a guy online that it was a security thing to make her feel better about me being in chat rooms.
Yeah I use to hate being stared at on the chest level. Never wore low cut shirts though.

I'm.. going to admit my actual sex for the first time on Mene I think, and say that I've got D-DDs but I've still passed.. even when not bound (though that was a little kid, who shouted as I walked past him in the supermarket; 'Look, mom, he's got pink hair!'). I guess the jacket I was wearing hid my physique fairly well, but still. I've also passed to a person I had at least a five minute conversation with, while bound and wearing a fairly tight tank top. But then, I did also have a drawn on beard at the time.. (the moustache was for this picture, I didn't have time to wash it off..)
I've passed a few other times, both online and offline, in.. various guises. Makes me happy when I do manage it, or when I manage to just confuse people, but I really prefer being referred to as a person rather than a stereotype.. sadly, most people don't get that.

Your drawn on looks way better than the one a friend of mine on FB attempts lol.
I've passed before in public. Before I was dateing one of my now ex's, his step dad was sure I was a boy. all my friends were guys too so it just didn't dawn on him that I was born female.
I would love if I passed better at work, but I think my voice has something to do with it too. At work I'm so use to useing my girl voice that it just comes out instead of my natural deep voice.
I can usually pass for a 14-17 year old boy though lol. Maybe once I lose weight again I'll be able to pass better too.

I would forget too lol. I'll apologize ahead of the time. I started researching being transgender and found a lot of other things out there taht i never thought about. Or people that feel they are between genders and what they prefer to be called. That would of never dawned on me. I always thought people were one or the other, but I too have my between moments.

Hehe thanks.. the picture was mostly done in support of a prostate cancer awareness thing back home.. like Movember, but in March. I did another picture yesterday for Movember actually, but I don't think it looks quite as good.. [x]
I did them both with eyeshadow, but for the first one I used a needle to try to draw on individual hairs while for the second one I used a brush I usually use for my eyebrows to straighten them out.
Circumstances can definitely help, like you having all male friends. I've read a lot about passing and it seems a lot of people say that if you want to pass in public, you have to play into the heterosexual binary gender patriarchy, for example by being seen going on dates with girls if trying to pass as a guy. I get that it would work, but I don't want to play into the hetero binary gender system, so I've thrown away all the rule books. I'm just playing it however I want to.
Hehe it's difficult to pass for a male your age unless you've got very masculine features.. especially without the beard. Then, for males to pass they'll often look older than they are..
Durr it's late, I should probably go to sleep, need to get up early tomorrow. Oh how I wish I could stop time.. or go without sleep.. *yawns*
Night!
Edit as I didn't see your posts till now: As for pronouns, I personally really like zie (zie - s/he, hir - him/her, hirs - his/her, hirself). But I don't mind any other pronouns you feel like using, as long as it's not 'it'.

Love your hair in that pic too.

Ohhhh how I wish I could pass like a boy! ... unfortunately my mom is too much binary for that. Believe it, just by looking at a cool t-shirt and commenting on how it's the only cool thing in the whole store she'd say "Stop thinking like a boy!" after noticing it's in the boy's section :|
She has let me buy men sizes when no women sizes were available, though :ninja: Never with her money though, haha!

Tana, I know, I think it's the complete lack of stubble. :P
Thanks seth. I get on much easier with guys usually, though I also have some close girlfriends. Not the typical girls types though, and they've long since stopped expecting girly things from me. My boyfriend doesn't quite understand my gender issues and he really prefers it when I dress more feminine, but he's just not used to it and at least he is trying to understand, bless.
Kah, I hope you'll be able to open your mum's eyes to the fact the world isn't all black and white. When you really think about it, the complete gender binary as well as having it so exclusively linked to biological sex really doesn't make that much sense. I'm reading a fantastic book now called Gender Outlaw by Kate Bornstein, a post-op transsexual woman, and she really elaborates on that, and though the book is academic in nature, it's written in a very fun and easy to relate way, with little personal stories stuck in between texts. Definitely recommend it.
