I've been thinking about my "Feast of Fools" inspired avatar, and I was musing about how I wish I could walk outside like that and still be androgynous. You see, for those who have XX chromasomes you would be flashing chest and would be wearing a sleek bikini bottom down below. For those with XY chromasomes, you can bear your chest but your 'package' would be very packed, visible, etc. It would be impossible to be treated neutrally while wearing this [little]. I suppose it is why I err on the side of over-dressing with loads of belts, chains, accessories, large hoodies or my trenchcoat. It gives people more guesswork.

When I was going to the information counter to ask for disabled person assistance on my return flight from England, they actually assumed I was an unaccompanied minor and gave me that paperwork at first. >=/ That's what I get for being a perma-twelve year old vampire though.

O_o; No... that's people for you. XD! Shoot, if I saw ya' I might think your a minor unless I saw ID or your told me something. :P I saw some of your photos. You do look like you're thirteen though in some of them. :P Kind of like Bobby Hill age, but without the Hank Hill as a dad and all. :S

Anyways, how has everyone been?

Flink does the opposite of Cora, on RPs that is. She usually plays male characters so that people won't hit on her. In fact in most games and sites like Menewsha Flink's main avatar is male. Very rarely does she switch to female, she only does that if she likes the items of the female gender of if it's easy to switch back to male like it is here.

She doesn't RP as often now because of time, which she lacks. And she ALWAYS loses her RP partners. Flink also agrees with Cora on the fact that people who boast about being literate and decent are actually really horrible. x.x

-Fights the urge to boast about being a literate and decent roleplayer.- I play both male and female roleplaying characters. The female ones get hit on much more, so I suppose I have to agree with Flink.

Lizzy- Your "Bobby Hill age" remark made me facepalm and laugh simultaneously. No matter what, I do still look like I'm of an age to be 'pushed around' by 'adults'. Just wait until they end up paying me to get viruses off their computer, fix their home wireless problems, or do IT wiring for their new office suite. And then I hurt my back and have to take opiod pain killers in order to make the pain knock it off.

@The_Crow: :( Well Pain killers do age people from what I could tell. :S I don't think you want to hurt your back. :S That isn't the life for anyone.

Anyways, I heard from a high school buddy I hadn't heard from in a long time. I thought it was someone else, then I remembered it was him. :P He changed a lot. :) He looks like a girl now. :) Not saying that is a bad thing, maybe he enjoys being a woman. ^_^; I don't mind that or anything of that sort. Then again, it isn't my call to judge his life style. I am just glad he is happy. :)

Hm... I been role play free for a week, and I think I should get back into it too. I just don't know what got me stopped from doing it.

I mostly roleplay as guys though. ^_^; When I do roleplay as a female, it is a multipurpose character, Lizzy. :P I use her in every roleplay I ever roleplayed. Well almost every roleplay. I like my male characters though, to bad they aren't real. :(

Anyways... what's everyone up to? Oh yeah, I got a hair cut! :D

I haven't touched my hair since I shaved my head bald almost a year ago. It's rather untidy, and is at the point where I'm either a guy with long hair or a girl with short hair. However, if things go as predicted, I will be selected to play Kou Seiya of The Three Lights of Sailor Moon Stars again. I'll have to get my hair tidied up for that. Last time:

Huzzah! I just got told this on another social networking site:

Quote:
I know lots of erotic terms but not this one...
What does GF mean?
I can't tell if you are a pretty boy or a pretty woman or what?
GF = "Gender Fluid". They don't have "Androgyne" as an option for gender, so I picked the next best thing. I do like breaking traditional gender roles left and right, both ways. Still, what I am is a person, and for online communications that is all anybody really needs to know.

I thought GF meant girlfriend. O: What's a gender fluid?
I'm glad you're having success with being androgynous online! I love the notion of being known by your personality rather than the way you were born, labels carry way too much meaning in our society. When deciding whether to be friends with someone, it shouldn't matter what's under their pants or what they're attracted to- that should only matter to the person's mate. I find it strange that people are so disgusted by other people with different sexual preferences/gender identities; it's like being disgusted by a race. Hitler, much?
Anyways, I'm gonna stop before I offend anyone further. xD

edit: Also, although I identify as my biological gender (I don't believe in two standard genders, so it makes the most sense to go with my biological gender when asked), I refuse to put any definite gender on any of my online profiles. My photos make my gender obvious, but I'm boycotting marking my gender because of most sites' lack of an "androgynous" or "transgendered" option, and I think that's hella unfair.

This might be the wrong place to state this, but I think androgyny is amazingly sexy. Guys with long hair and fine features, girls who wear their hair short...trans or not, gay or not, it is something that turns me on.

The best of all is when I can't tell what sex someone is, and I get to ask their preferred pronoun. Some are offended. Others don't mind it. Either way, no matter what their response...hot.

Heiyuu- Your statement isn't negative or derisive at all so it is okay to state your opinion. I find myself drawn to other androgynes... those who manage to blur the lines have a certain energy about them that calls to me and I find myself wanting to get to know them better; it is almost guaranteed I will get along with them much better than people who live with a more mundane viewpoint.

My gender role seems to change based on the gender of the person I am dating. I mean I'm always a female but when I date a guy I become very girly but when I date a girl I show my masculine charactoristics like I'll hold doors open for them and buy thier movie tickets and if some one insults them I get all up in the persons face and I walk them to their door. I have yet to find a happy medium but as I get older it seems more possible.

I've found that my gender role essentially stays the same regardless of who I'm with personality-wise; I'm very feminine, much to my chagrin, and it shows in my body movements such as how I sit (curled up in a ball or with legs crossed at the knee), walk and certain things I do when I talk (put my hand to my chest when I'm complimented, et al.). Also, I've done a few experiments on anonymous chat sites such as Omegle wherein I have an entire conversation with a person without revealing my gender and then ask which they think I am at the end, and in most cases they've either said they thought I was female or they weren't sure. A few reasons for this that I got were that I used emoticons, used proper capitalization and punctuation and that I had a conversation with them at all; something that "most guys dont[sic] do"

Despite my inherently girly personality, I feel that my thought patterns are more masculine (or at least not traditionally feminine) and that I am strong and dominant. A lot of the time, especially in love, I tend to feel like a teenage boy and I think that's because I get most of my romance tips from my dad, since he raised me. And I tend to disregard any tips I get from my mom, because she keeps suggesting that I get married to a man and have women for mistresses like she does. x_x

WOAH, TL;DR. Anyways, long story short, I feel masculine but don't act like it. xD

@Heiyuu- I so agree. :drool:

Tana doesn't know much about this subject, but at times I have not been comfortable in my current gender, but Tana isn't afraid to be them-self *nods*

most of the time at least

but there are people that make Tana feel bad for being the way that Tana is
when they find out certain information they look at us and they usually condemn
Tana is most definitely not very girly, but certainly has the shape of one
and it gets irritating at times that all the guys only notice my chest, and not who I am.

Tana isn't bright enough sometimes, and doesn't come with the comebacks untill it's way to late
there was one time though that it was good, I had spilled Red paint on my uniform, and when people asked what happened I told them they should see the other guy XD

A bit late, but.. I think androgyny and genderblurring is really hot too, always thought so. I just instantly feel interested when I can't tell a person's sex. For some reason though, I've never actually been with anyone ambiguous..

Tana is the type of person that if they find someone they like, they like them, no matter what the gender.....but there's only a few girls Tana likes, cause girls can be very mean peoples, guys to....Tana just isn't very social at all really *shrugs*
either that or someone she likes ends up hurting her really bad

Good to know Frinkzirra has our backs. I'm sorry that you've been hurt Tana-dear, and not to belittle your pain, because it IS real and it IS valid... but everyone who has attempted a relationship has been fucked over at some point. Even ones that seem like should be fairy tales ended up failing badly. The question is, are you too hurt to ever try again, or will you eventually find someone worth the risk?

That's part of the cool thing about getting to know 'a person for a person', without the sexual side attatched to it, if you are ever able. People generally attract, are neutral/tolerable, or repel. It is part of our energy signatures, and how we hold ourselves (even online).

Trying to recover from pain is quite difficult, and rather out of the scope of this thread. Let's just say I was a hair away from needing to be hospitalized last night because I received bad news that dredged up depression, an anxiety attack, the desire to self harm, suicidal ideations, and the borderline personality 'fear of being left/leaving' bit.
