lol. If some of these people went to an anime convention and saw how many guys were there as sailor scouts. XD they'd explode.
|
Two words: Sailor Bubba.
Two more words: Man-Faye. (Shame, I heard he got banned from Anime Expo after his costume kinda...fell off. More than once.) |
I kinda wanna go to an event a papillon from buso renkin. lol. XD I'd so get kicked out. Also, I'd have to shave. . .
Nope. Never gonna do it. XD |
They couldn't kick you out for this version of the costume though.

That's true. . . (evil plan forming)
|
I wouldn't want you to dye your hair black though..... @[email protected];
|
There's always wigs dear. ;)
|
Mmhmm.
|
Wigs are awesome. I mean, how can you not love something that lets you change your appearance at will?
|
lol. Indeed. A good hat does the same. :) I love hats.
|
The fedora is my personal favourite. I am far from actually 'skilled' but I can do minor tricks such as roll it up from my hand, up my arm to the top of my head. That seems to impress many people. The trick is finding one small enough for me. I have to go to a specialty hat store that sells hats, more hats, and nothing but hats.
For those of you who don't know, I weigh 85 lbs and generally get the consensus that I look 14 (give or take two years) old. It is frustrating when I walk into a department store for an item sold only in the adults section and I ask "Excuse me, do you know where the ___ are?" "But those are in the womens section!" "But those are in the mens section!" with a slight incredulous tone to the voice. In which I reply with growing prescense and determination "Yes, I am well aware of that, thank you, now may you please show me where they are?" |
lol. I remember when I had my hair long, people used to address me as "miss" when approaching from behind. Society's idea of what a male or female looks like amuses me sometimes.
|
I've been addressed as "Miss" along with "Sir" but I think I confuse most people so they settle with just "Excuse me" or "Hey You" depending on the level of poltieness required in the given situation.
|
I try usually to NOT be gender specific when addressing people, because I know a lot of people who don't identify as whatever gender they look like. >.>
|
I almost like it when people avoid gendering me altogether over when they get it right.
Both are really nice though. |
I generally call people by their biological, or apparent gender, and if they tell me otherwise, I apologize and use whatever they prefer. I tend to shy away from gender neutral pronouns because they're not well known, and technically not considered words by the general public. People just think you're speaking in a funny accent for some reason. :/
|
In real life I am called all sorts of things but the majority ends up to match with my biological sex, ie my chromasomes (XX or XY).
Gender neutral pronouns are much easier to implement and keep up with online. In real life, people do look at you weird. That's when you use 'they/them' as much as you can. |
I called someone an it once....because I was super angry with them at the time, and I was a little exasperated with them, because every time I met them (which the times were fairly close together) they would be identifying as a different gender, and would get really angry at me if I "unidentified" them, even though they gave no outward clues as to what gender they were identifying as that week.... [roll] How was I supposed to know? D:
I did apologize later though. |
Because of the fact that I switch back and forth, I don;t think there's really a pronoun for me. I'm not neutral. lol. I'm one or the other, it's just not always obvious which one. >.> Unless I'm in an argument. Then I'm a girl and it's usually pretty obvious. XD
|
Lol and thus, my signature.
|
@Kita- Your signature is awesome. In general, I hate, well, dislike/stay away from, etc 90% of females and 75% of males. I detest the superficiaility and cattiness in the extreme feminitinity and the extreme "Duh, pain and stench is funny" in the extreme male spectrum. However, I like geek. All flavour of geek. However, there tend to be many more male geeks than female geeks which is why the number for males is lower than that of females.
Notwithstanding: I still will give ANY INDIVIDUAL HUMAN BEING the benefit of the doubt, alone, in person. The above statements are directed towards 'groups' of the 'extreme' sides of the spectrum. I really enjoy my neutrality with dabbling towards either side on occasion. |
I love my signature haha. Glass is so obviously a girl when we get in arguments that its a little frustrating. O_o I'm used to fighting with men, I've been doing that all my life, but fighting with girls is a whole new game. Which is why Glass pretty much always wins arguments. [lol]
I know about half-and-half geeky guys and girls, but that's probably because I only hang out with nerdy people in general. >.> |
Well nerds tend to be awesome most of the time. lol. Hence why we hang out with them. Some can be annoying and arrogant. . . (totally never guilty of that myself.) >.> However for the most part, nerds, geeks, what have you, tend to be nicer, and more socially accepting than other groups.
