Thank you very much! Great place ya've started up here. I'm the moderately young crazy Californian student. :P How're you doing today? |
|
ljos: Hey there! -waves- |
This place seems to attract a lot of artists and californians. Haha - not that I mind, everyone is great here, really.
I'm all right. Just got back from a week of camping in the cold, dancing around bonfires and howling at the moon with my brother and a pack of dutch tourists we met on the road. On Monday it'll start all over again, but this time we're going to see mud pools and climb dormant volcanoes. Yay. How are you 88? Ljos! London-based, ja? Where's your home? Please tell me it's mainland Europa! |
Glitter: Yeah, Californian Born and Raised. :) But won't be living here for much longer... possibly. And sounds like fun!! :) Wish that I could go traveling. And I'm doing pretty well. Just hoping that my Love will call me this weekend. And please call me Love (or Hope. :) ) |
|
Iceland. You just scored major points with me - I love that place to death, really. If I could possibly move there, I could. How old are you and why are you in grey old London?
I'm studying and working in New Zealand at the moment and my brother has come all the way over here to travel the nation with me. Needless to say we'll be stirring a lot of shit because the two of us together equal complete and utter nihilism but we shall come out unscathed. or at least partially. I'll put both of you on the glitter list, since I've seen that you've been regulars here. I need to update it. oh, and where do you hope to move, 88? |
Well, as for moving, I really don't know where I'll be going to. I'll just be following my husband. And because he's being deployed so soon after our wedding, I may end up staying here in California till he's back, but we'll see. Not really totally sure yet. ljos: Oh, it was good, we learned about plate tectonics. :) It was actually pretty interesting. |
Meh. I have my conscription coming up if I blow off my studies. So..
Wait, the government might be watching. |
|
ljos: Oh, yeah, it's pretty interesting, we just touched on the topic as it's just a really fast paced course. The course is Physical Geography. It's pretty interesting. I have issues with it, mainly just trying to remember so much info but at the same time, it's really awesome, because I have more to talk to my Da about. <3 |
*dies momentarily*
her list is better than mine! you speak a bit of German, ljos? I speak NO Icelandic and I wouldn't even try to for fear of making an arse of myself. but it's such an interesting language, though. It's like a linguistic time capsule. You're very, very fortunate person to have that language under your belt. |
I know some American Sign Language. :P |
I know how to flip the bird.
|
Lol! Universally known. :P My fiancee doesn't know much sign, so he gets frustrated when I get confused and just start signing which I do when I don''t know how to put into words what I am trying to say out loud. |
|
About the only interesting thing I can do with my hands is play the piano, and music is a language we all know, ja?
|
Oh, the piano! I can play.... somewhat? Mum is much better at it than I am, but I love to tinker around on it. And yeah, love music. <3 |
You love German, Ljos? You should talk to Aru. She's a Germanophile. It scares me sometimes XD
Oh, and you better have AIM. |
|
Being German isn't a novelty! Being ICELANDIC is a novelty :P
I can't do guitar for shit. Seriously. I get too paranoid about getting my fingers calloused and whatever. Call it vanity, but I just have this.. strange OCD thing with my hands and fingers. Perhaps Aru can put that on her list along with me being a slutty drunk. *rubs his temples* ok, Ljos - msn? |
