They live on the same street. xD So I can easily switch from there to here. My grandparents live in the same city, except for my mother's biological father, who lives near the capital in the southern Finland. But I like spending time at his house, too. They have a HUUUUGE house and a HUUUUGE dog who's really calm and he's so fluffy that I can't help but killing my feet when I allow him to sit on my lap. Or his head. xD Huge dog ... And his son has a Rottweiler called Rommeli. She's adorable, too. 8) Yes I know I should call his son my uncle, but I rarely see him (I just see his dog when my gramps is sitting her) so it feels awkward. Besides he seems to be some kind of a neo-nazi. O_O' Not my type of person at all. ^^' I'd probably get into a fight with him in a matter of minutes.

If you didn't notice it yet, I'm really defining people by their dogs. xDD

Awe! You're lucky they live so close. My Gran - my dad's mom - lives about a 4 hour drive from here down on the coast, in a town on the other side of the bay from San Fransisco, and my grandmother - mum's mom - lives out in New Mexico. Both my grandfathers' have passed away - Dad's dad when dad was 11, and mum's dad back in March of 2008. :( I wish that I had gotten to meet Grandpa Bob (Dad's dad). :(

And as for the room checks, it's really just to make sure that the room isn't a total mess, which ours isn't, I don't think. And to check our heating/cooling system.

And Aru I hope that that meeting goes well!

Yeah, I'm pretty lucky to have my grandparents so close. And I'm even more lucky because they don't hate me and I don't hate them. Usually I don't get along with old people (tend to be a little too conservative in here) but gladly my grandparents aren't the typical elders. xD They're pretty fun, actually. My grandfathers are both into history and foreign cultures as well as science so I can always discuss science with them whereas my grandmothers are really good at cooking and know some pretty cool stuff about housekeeping. xD I'm lame at housekeeping to begin with, so any help from them is appreciated. And they're patient, to top it all off!

I just hate all my cousins, though. They're all a) brats, b) elitists or c) just plain idiots. D: And I hate my aunt's husband. With a passion. xD Even though I love my both aunts very much! D8

Yeaah I bought cornflakes, milk, pudding (I couldn't resist T_T) en cookies! Cause they where on sale.. but I got the ones with chocolate.. because I thought: 'YAY! CHOCOLATE!' .. but this chocolate isn't that good.. it's that sugary-chocolate-bleh stuff @[email protected] So.. I wished I took the ones without chocolate.. (None the less I already ate half of the cookies. >_< Even though I don't really like them.. I'm so bad..XD)

xDD We stocked up on some essential foodstuffs today, mainly because EVERY FREAKING PARTY IS ON STRIKE HERE D< This year, at least five major labor unions have been on strike, hindering the delivery of many foodstuffs or other products. They're idiots to go on strike during economical slump! D<
