My most recent encounter were with sort of big ones. lol, they could take out an eye if they wanted to! D; And what was really scary was they weren't in a cage or anything! O.O

And they were sqawking really loud. There goes my attempt at trying to make them talk. D;

It's an adorable little lovebird. So loud, and such an attention whore. xD And he absolutely loves me.. I'm watching him and the apartment for this guy while he's in Africa getting married (jealous! (of the Africa part, not the marriage part)) and the parrot is always in my face, giving me kisses and squawking real loud in my ear. He's even started flying onto my finger if I hold it out sometimes, which apparently he only does with his human.

Ew, and he just pooped on my sock. Well, at least it wasn't my hair...

I sure love parrots. And they either love me or hate me. But I've got a lip ring and am always wearing a hat, so I'm sure they don't like that.
Pro-tip: If you have piercings, KEEP THE BIRD AWAY FROM THEM. Oh god, I can't stress this enough.
Also: If a bird poops somewhere, clean it asap, because once it hardens it turns into fucking concrete, I swear to god.

So, a week from today, I'm moving into this transitional housing program. I've been on the wait list for four months, and they finally have an opening. Of course, they assured me I wouldn't be sharing a room, so naturally the only room available is one that will be shared. Go figure. Internet will also be limited. Ah well. Basically it's a year-long program, and I pay rent and stuff, and then at the end of the year, they give me all that rent back! Pretty awesome. But I have to be either working a 40-hour week, or working a 20-hour week and going to school for 12 credits a semester. I'm about to be more busy than I've ever been in my life. O_O
Keeps my mind sort of away from GG, at least. I guess. -_-

I live in California, San Fransisco Bay Area. It's a very awesome program. I'm nervous about it, and kind of intimidated, but it's an amazing opportunity I've pretty much just been handed on a silver platter, and I'd be the biggest idiot not to take advantage of it. Besides, I don't have a choice either way, eheh.
