LOL, they probably would... Then again... No one has to know about it, either. > w >

I would probably use the zombie skin if it was all bruised and stuff. XD I think that - over time - I'll switch between this base and one of the lighter male bases. </nods> I can never decide if I want to be male or female when it comes to these avatar communities, and Menewsha has such a cute male base!

:C Right now I'm trying to figure out why I can't equip an item.

That's true ;D

Yeeeah, I can't decide either! I chose female because it had hair that fit a character I have made up in my head... never thought I'd find an avatar site that would be able to make her XD Now I just love orange <3 haha.

Have you tried clicking it until it lets you? XD Sometimes Mene fucks up on me like that.

I have not had a lazy day. Let me tell you about the dining room in my apartment:

After my boyfriend moved in, and my Ma and I switched places in the apartment, boyfriend and I gained control of most of the apartment. However, my mother continues to use 85% of the apartment as storage for an ample amount of shit that she does not need. We cannot use any of the closets, and the dining room is FULL OF HER THINGS. On top of that, she decided to not take care of her two (now one) cats she had, so they started using the dining room as a giant litter box. I have spent my day cleaning that room up. It looks great now.

/rant

I typically go with the skin color that matches myself IRL.

Your sock monkey is done, Aru. :3

D: Oh, ew. That does not sound fun, Rhumbullion. I'd have been one angry biatch at the end of the day. I can't stand when things are out of place or cluttered. It makes me feel like I'm suffocating. D: I can't even imagine what that room must of smelled like!

Oh yeah. At the beginning it was bad. Once I got everything picked up off of the floor, including the cat poo, I covered the carpet in baking soda and let it sit while I scrubbed the walls...After the first vacuuming, it was not so bad. Everything was so sticky...There was a crystallized puddle of cat pee that had rotted through a pair of rubber mud stompers...Gross.

A friend had bullied me into joining an avatar community that's still in beta (I don't even remember what its name is), but I was getting bored with the people. I found their forums for other avatar communities and checked out Menewsha because it had the most entertaining name. :'D So far, I've fallen in love.

Hey Majesty, and welcome to Mene and the thread! :) And heyy, my avatar's skin is also dark. :c (yes, I'm aware you can't really see it..) I prefer the darker bases in general.
Guh got lost reading a comic, now I need to quickly get my pictures ready! I'm opening an exhibition tomorrow and I have to decide which pictures to use and edit them so they look all shiny and pretty. Good thing they don't need a lot of editing.. it's already past eleven and I need to get up real early tomorrow, which I haven't done in aaaaages. x_____x

Thanks Majesty. I'm a photography student, and this social centre for teenagers was looking for artists to exhibit stuff since they're opening it up again after a bit of renovation. I've exhibited some stuff there before a few years back, with other people, but this is my first solo exhibition. It's not big, but still. :D I'm pretty excited.
Done photoshopping, now I just need to decide which images I want to use.. I wish my printer worked, it's really difficult to make a decision like this on a computer screen. >.o
Also, I hate how photoshop always makes my laptop all suuuuuper slow. It makes me really hate photoshopping, so I always take really long to finish working on pictures, unless they're on film.

Why, is it that bad? :P I can take critique, good or bad. I realise my facebook is a bit.. random at the moment. I need to add more pictures to it, I've just been too lazy and irritated with facebook working like shit for me every time I try doing anything.

No, no. I wouldn't say that it is bad. On the same token, it does not stand out to me. Some of the pictures are amazing and really strike a certain chord, you know? There is a pic of some people sitting together and behind them a sign that says "Police We Love You :) " For some reason, that picture speaks volumes to me, whether you meant it to or not. There are a few others in that album that I really liked, as well.

Playing With Fire could be tweaked to make the fire and the people stand out more. Fashion I found boring but, that isn't about you. I just think fashion pictures are boring, no matter who takes them.

I can definitely see that you have an eye for a human factor that many people do not. Though, I also feel that you need some practice still. I think that you have great potential in your work. You just need to seize that potential by the short and curlies and tell it who's boss. :P

Keep in mind though that I am only one person, and I am not good with pictures. As a result, I do not take them.

I typically say something like "I shall refrain from critiquing" to test the waters. Most people do not take well to critiques because most people they are critiqued BY do not know how to properly critique.

Most folks that I meet think that a critique is "Oh, I really like this, but everything else sucks" or something similarly negative. I understand that critiques are not always positive but, there is no need to be an ass-face about it. To me, a proper critique is "This was great, this was good, this is what I feel needs work." *shrug* But maybe it is just me?

Hey, thanks! It's not often I get thought out critique from people.. usually people just go 'oh, cool photos' and nothing more, which doesn't help me at all. It's always refreshing when people take the time to say a bit more. :)
I really like the 'Police we love you' picture as well. The Democracy Village was a lot of fun and I had fun documenting it. Once I get back to London I'll be doing more pictures from demonstrations and such.

The fire pictures are from the first two times I actually took proper pictures of people playing with fire, so they're still in experimental stage. Do you have any tips on how to make the fire and people stand out more? I'm not sure I follow what you mean.
Hehe, I'm getting bored with fashion as well, so I've been focusing more on different things. I've been doing a lot of stuff this summer on film too, which I can't get developed till I get back to London so in a few weeks I should be flooding my fb with film stuff, once I've processed and scanned it.

And I'm always learning, it's great. I'll continue practicing for as long as I feel like I need the practice, which will probably be forever since you can always improve.

Thanks a bunch for the critique. :) I think I should probably go to sleep now though, to get some proper sleep for tomorrow. If I manage to sleep, that is.. *crosses fingers*

Night night!

I am sure Ljo will do fine. :3 You should take a look at his/her pics on their Facebook.

I have had 3 cups of coffee...I woke up this morning at 5:23 in the AM and did not want to take a nap in the afternoon...now I am all jittery and keep screwing up on my crocheting.
