The Dark Signers have officially teamed up with the Orechalcos, and things are starting to get nasty. So far things were fairly simple: Theif Bakura was the only person who they had to take out, but now it's been confirmed that the Dark Signers aree working with the Orechalcos. An old enemy surprisingly enough, is actually an ally this time around; Dartz is working with the Omega Federation to fight off this new dark alliance.
There's also some big problems that go back 5000 years; the Millenium Items have been re-forged. So far, Omega's got none of them under their control. Also, the by-products of the initial creation of the Millenium Items have recently come to light again; the Star's Items. They've got the same powers of the Millenium Items and look exactly the same, except for the fact that they're silver instead of gold. So far the only two known holders of the Star's Items are Yana Mutou (weilding the Rod), Aoi Misawa (with the Tauk), and Melhana Ankh (who, while she's been chosen by the Puzzle, she had yet to solve it).
Another big snarl that was thrown in was the fact that whoever's in charge of this alliance infected Yugi Mutou's wife, Ashleigh, with a power coctail that was a combination of that of the Dark Signers and the Orechalcos. Shortly after, four girls--Marica, Saharia, Yana (Yugi's and Ashleigh's daughter), and Kamikaze Sakura (one of the Five Legends)--were sent in to get her back. As for Sakura, she ended up staying behind to continue spying. Now, four more are preparing to throw themselves into harm's way as spies themselves, and to try and retrieve something that's under the enemy's control...
