I can certainly relate where money is concerned. I live off £50 to survive every 2 weeks, and most of the time £25 of that go's on a coach ticket down south xD

So yeah, i can't really afford to go anywhere extra most of the time. Im waiting for my birthday next month till i get to plan something, but i recon it'll just be a music festival again, rather than a holiday...its a camping holiday, with live music instead xD

And 15? out of 24 was it? I forget. You'll get it done. It may not be a book you wanna read but at least you did it :D
Have you not come across any good bits??
I'm still putting off my assignments like a foo haha.

Yay you came back!
If I'm to go anywhere outside work it'd be awesome to go one of the Sci-Fi conventions or something. Love to meet some of the awesome Sci-Fi actors like Jewel Staite, and David Hewlet. It'd even be awesome to meet Ajay Fry, and Teddy Space (Hosts of INNERspace) Gotta love my sci-fi geekiness (Spell check recommended "Jerkiness", definitely a better word xD).
15 of 27. Me being the genius I am started reading Moby Dick. Of course I didn't realize what was wrong with that til I said it out loud to my friends today.

First four chapters were actually pretty decent. But seriously, the rest of the book is pretty much void in my opinion. Van Helsing is currently the only good part.
Doctor. Lawyer. Vampire Slayer. His resume must be awesome.

Word of the day = Procrastination! <3

That word owns my life...its owning my life right now! xD
-carries on procrastinating-

And yes, that is sort of foolish! Cause now you've found something more interesting to read. Damn that tempting procastinator!

I did that back when i had to read Great Gatsby. I ended up reading some historical fiction instead. Baaaadd idea when i was reading about modern day-ish America =/

Ah well, we poor souls must suffer at times! :P
At the end of it, lets hope we all have Millions! haha...if only.

And yush, i am back for now. I may have to do my fill of harbour fishing shortly though, i wanna beat 30k xD

Got 2000 in Snake yesterday, currently my best but I will become the Snake Master!
And ended up trapping myself inside so I was just spinning around the edges trying to prolong my pathetic life for like a minute before inevitably reaching my demise.
Funny story (In my opinion) about reading. Back in grade 10 (those two devastatingly long years ago, before you knew me. How sad D=) I read Stephen King's Cell to do a book report on. However between the time of reading and actually doing the book report I read: Animal farm, To kill a mockingbird, Delores Claibourne, The Stand, the Langoliers, Thinner, and the Dark Half. So my book report was more or less
"Cell is a story about a bunch of talking animals who try to kill a mockingbird, but end up killing her husband, which leads to the end of the humanity by some disease that only kills neutral people or something, and then giant circles with pointy teeth ate everything and a guy got so thin he became an evil bizarro version of himself"

(All of those are references, in order to the books I read, hope you get them and I didn't spoil anything =O)

Haha! Hilarious!
I can totally imagine that happening. How on earth did you read so many before the report though? xD

And great referencing, it actually made sense to me :P hehe

As far as my reading go's at the moment, i SHOULD be reading about finance and marketing for business, cause im stuck on my assignments, but instead, i keep reading about Conservation and Ecology cause it is what i plan on studying at University xD
Fact is i've no chance of studying that at all unless i get my business stuff done first haha.

Yet another Procrastinator! :P

And yay for snake! I would totally try to beat you, but my --> key is real dodgy, i would faaail :(

It has messed me up on harbour fishing a few times too, darn you dodgy key! Why couldn't it be the letter X or something!

Hey Swan. I can't tell you how I respect what you are doing job wise because.....*drum roll*...... I worked the graveyard shift at a motel several years ago and I lasted all of 1 week before running with my tail between my legs! lol! I was so freaked by all the weird people coming in (and I was alone as well) I could hardly stand it. I kept a can of pepper spray behind the desk and every time someone came through the door my hand would automatically dive for it! Of course, this was not a hotel but, a motel. In other words, one of the little gross "side of the road" dives. Yikes! I still can't believe I ever did that but, at the time I was desperate for work. I'll never forget one night when a bunch of people were having a party in one of the rooms and they ended up destroying the room. They stuffed pillow cases in the toilet and tied the bed linens to their car and drove off with them dragging on the ground. They also threw the pillows on top of the motel roof. They were all so drunk it was crazy! I ended up having to call the police and then my boss came in and I thought he was going to stroke out! Needless to say, don't ever work at a road side motel. lol!

I don't know how I did. I wish I could remember I read A LOT back then. Curses upon my younger mind, and its quicker reflexes.

Procrastinating. An invention almost as evil as T.V, Gravity, and School.

OH NOES! I actually had something to say but I forgot because I was watching Shane Daweson on youtube! I'm sad now ><

Swansie you has a person to respect you =O Welcome to our crazy little place where we like... Talk when Swansies not around. Except on the Weekend. We talk when she's around then. Cursed Time differences.

Uggh. My nephew is literally SCREAMING (not singing. Screaming) the lyrics of that song... for haiti relief. Waving Flag or something? Who the hell screams songs?

Lavina:
-hugs back-
I really had to post and run, as I had to dash across campus and that's harder with my asthma acting up. But it's nothing that seeing my fiancee again in about 50ish days won't fix. Just had some things fall apart on me this weekend, and it's just hard, but I'll be fine. I just have mood swings the last few days, where I'm fine one second to I just feel like crying the next.

stEve: Eh, I'm a bit better, more annoyed at my cold than anything at the current moment. And I agree, classes do get in the way. I've been sick -- this going onto the third week now -- and I've not missed a single class since I got it. :headdesk: there are days when I just want to sleep. But I'm so determined to not miss class. That's not a good habit.

Sounds fun... 50 days. That's like... one months plus one month subtract ten days. (Yes, I did just do that).
Still can't recall what I was gonna say.

Yeah 50 days is pretty much nothing considering I haven't seen him in person since the 24th of January. I miss him something fierce.

And that's totally ok, I forget what I'm going to say/type allll the time!

Hopelessly, how come you have waited so long, does he work away? Or are you in a long distance for now??

I feel for you, i really do. Anytime me and my partner have had to wait 6 weeks or more it has been beyond torture for us. Even now i miss him immensely cause i don't know when the next visit will be. His shifts and my college days always seem to collide so we have to cancel and wait even longer. We've spent our whole relationship waiting...i've gotten sick of it now lol.

I hope you don't have to wait so long much more after this, it's never a nice feeling, and nothing feels worse than having to say goodbye to him :(

Enough of that though, out of it all, imagine how good it will be when you finally get his arms around you again

Also, sorry i dissapeared on you guys, my internet decided to go caput for a couple of hours :(

It's cool.
Totally don't know if I could pull off a long distance relationship. Ya'know I'm too clingy and love-y for that, or something. Maybe just another awesome paradox (Those happen a lot).

Started reading Dracula. Youtube is as vile an invention as T.V for us procrastinators.
Also ate two bags of Hawkins cheesies and a toblerone, Yum.

I hate when internet blows up >< My wireless is currently fraked so I'm on wired laptop. Woooo...
*Doesn't know if he's played his 360 today* So much happening.

Oh FRAK Math test >< Forgot to study for that! And LOST is on in an hour!? Where did the day go!?

9:08. Woo. Prolly be up to at least 1 so three hours. one of which will be LOST and 1 and a half will prolly be Dracula... Half an hour for Math >< I'll cram during Lunch tomorrow. Wait... Ok good test last period so that works.

About Dracula...

SPOILERX

Character named Lucy was turned into a vampire. Van Helsing planed to kill her. but they never said if he did. Character just said she was really killed, I assume meaning they killed her vampire form. but when researching for it today I saw a spoiler saying that a different character killed him, making a sexual innuendo, and a symbol for how women are evil... So confused

Lavinia, He's in the marines, so he's been down in Southern California unable to get leave to come up and I am in school full time up here, in Northern California, so I'm unable to get down there. So right now it's mostly long distance till he can get up here.

It's hard. It's not the first time that we've gone though long distance before. I'm tired of it. We've been doing it since I first moved out of my parents house about 5 semesters ago (basically since we graduated from high school.) It sucks and now I'm finding myself having to move thing around because he's unable to get leave when we thought he'd be able to.

Oh, yeah. He's coming up for a week in June and then he's heading back across the states (he's being re-stationed in less than a month! -sigh-)

He doesn't know that I'm secretly planning to come with his mom, who I'm on great terms with, to pick him up. I so can't wait to see him again!

And it's totally ok. I've been in and out as well. I'm watching a movie with my quad mate. :)

stEve: Oh, I'm all clingy as well, expecially since I don't get much time with him when he's on Leave. I'm going to be the one come June clinging to him the airport refusing to let him go.

My internet died...again! D<
I was on a roll on my first go of tetris too, stooopid wireless!

Hope...so basically you've waited nearly 5 months, to spend one week with him, before he has to leave you again? I don't know about you, but that would break my heart...

it kinda scares me though, cause i'm going to have to do a similar sorta thing. After me and my James have got our degree's, he is joining the Navy as an officer either in the submarines or on the ships...either way there are gonna be times i will have to wait 6 months :(

I know im gonna hate the fact we'll be living together for 4 years, then we'll have to go back to square one of saying goodbye to each other again. No fair, and all respect to you for doing it!

Does he ever get really long leaves? like 6 week leaves? James said he would be entitled to that sort of thing after a long trip. Only getting a week at home after that long though...i feel bad for you both! He must feel just as bad leaving you lol.

I wouldn't know how to say goodbye for 6 months D=

<Seriously needs to shut up>

Also, Steve, i always said i wouldnt handle it, but i have to. Love makes you do silly things xD
Im insanely clingy, and so is my partner. We spend hours and hours just cuddling in silence, which is usually the first few hours of seeing each other again. The clinginess makes it sooo hard to leave him tho haha!

My first nights back home alone i usually end up cuddling a pillow lol :P
-cowers-

Oh and good look with the MATH test...i have mathaphobia...i swearz! Soon as i see numbers i freak! Pretty silly though, cause i'm planning on taking a degree in Science haha.

Lucky pillow I mean what? xD. Silly Navy. Was half tempted to join myself but 'unno if I'd do good at sea for that long, I like land and a video games.

Was reading things on "fuck my life" and some of them really make us guys sound like total assholes xD I feel bad for a lot of the girls in them. Then again some dick moves on the girls ends too... It's kinda sad how much a laugh I got out of some of them xD humans are so nice to each other, laughing at each others pain.

We should totally pick another topic other then boyfriends being away at sea. I can't relate to that.

Lavinia
Awe! Sorry to hear that.

And yeah, it's really hard. :( And it's just what we have to do now. We were supposed to get married this summer, but because of annoyingness we're not able to (don't want to go into details now.)

Oh, dear! I'm sorry to hear that! Loveh recently joined and so he's not getting all that much time off, he's technically not left yet, just through training, so not much time at all. -sigh-

Yeah, Loveh, and I don't live together yet, but he has come to stay with me a few times at my parents and it's just hard to let him go. Go to drop him back off at the airport, and he's gone for 6 months.... three months the first time, but no contact, just one letter, and then back for a week in January, and now he's gone through June. But he's being re-stationed across the states... Ok, yeah, it's hard, but we can do this.

And not yet, sadly. But we're hoping for more time off together when he's coming back next year. But we'll see! -crosses fingers-
Anyways, it's pouring outside so I need to go and get myself all dressed and ready to make a crazy mad dash (run) to class so I don't get totally soaked.
His first deployment is this coming summer -- well he'll be leaving October I think.... but he will be back east and not over here with me. -cling- DON'T Go! And will be about 12 months, but to be honest, not really sure, it's just too long!! :gonk: Hate it!

And it's going to be really rough. I've been trying not to think about it. One of my mates on here, who I've met, her husband left 2 weeks ago for 6 months and even though she was totally aware he was having to leave, it hit her really hard. :(

The first few nights after Loveh went off to Boot last year, I spent cuddling with the pillow that he used when he was with me. But it no longer smells like him. :( Sad!

And I hate Math as well!!

And I have to get going... my quad mate is being distracting and I have to head out into the pouring rain now. Talk to ya'll later.

Blegh, i can imagine. No matter how well prepared you think your going to be the first month is always going to be difficult. And James told me about the no contact that can happen in training. I didn't like the sound of that at all, me and James are used to giving each other daily updates haha.

haha, im sorry Steve -pats-
I was thinking we should change subject, cause not only will i have to go through what hope is soon, but its probably not helpin her feel better either xD

=slaps self=

Steve that makes me laugh. You would totally not survive 100 years ago, unless it was a virtual reality of course...
I love exploring the world. I'd love being at sea for months too, but not on my lonesome! xD

Did you watch lost from the start when it first came on? I refused cause it was too popular xD
And then! I still refused...cause it was still popular!
And THEN! I still REFUSE, cause there are TOO MANY SEASONS AND TOO MANY SEASONS MAKE ANYTHING SUCK!

Haha. But i understand the addiction. The creators know full well that once they get viewers hooked on one season, they will still watch it, no matter how shit the following seasons are. It's like a drug! I'm like that with Heroes, its rubbish now, but i still have to watch it every week D=

Eh, if I didn't know what the 360 was to miss it I'd be fine. But now that I've had it I'd rather not lose it.
I didn't watch from start. As you did I thought it was way too popular, and a stupid idea. However my friend was telling me about it while season 5 was airing. And I thought
"This show sounds almost as whacky as something I'd do" Almost xD so I started watching season 1. Pretty decent. Of course the show had to kill of my favorite character D: and I caught up when it was on Season 6 episode 6, so now I'm watching when it airs every Tuesday.
Watched Heroes religiously when it first came out. But the seasons seem to downgrade as you go, and I fell out of it sometime in Season 3 or 4? Not sure.

haha yeah, i did start watching the first Season of Lost at one time, no idea what season was airing at the time. But as i began to like it, it dawned on me....i had an epiphany! And i said to myself, 'NO! YOU ARE NOT GETTING ADDICTED TO ANOTHER SET OF SEASONS THAT WILL NEVER HAVE AN END!' So alas...i banned myself from Lost xD

I didn't start watching Heroes until i caught my step mum getting all excited about season 2 about to air, so i caught up so i could watch them with her. Season 3 made me fall out with them, when it was all government officials trying to lock everybody with an ability away. But for some reason my head won't let me stop watching D=

Im so glad i've never been able to afford a 360 or Ps3. I had a Ps2, but i was one of them 'guitar hero' fiends. When the lazer went caput i broke down! I kicked ass compared to my friends and now i suck again xD

my young brother bought a 360 when they first came out, i managed to get half way through assasins creed before he sold it to a friend so he could buy some DJ Decks.....i broke down again. Why must technology be so addictive??? T_T

Because Technology is so damn good?

The Ps1 and 2 are like console gods for RPGs.

LOST is actually pretty decent, and the stories not that hard to follow. Except when your trying to type and Jin and Sun are talking in Korean. Selfish pricks won't speak in a language I can understand when I look away.

360 sold for DJ desks?! The crazy fool!

LOST is over... Show Writers are so MEAN ><

Selfish indeed you tell em Steve! We must capture them and release the procrastinating meese upon them! xD

HAHA, if you think that makes him a crazy fool, then you'll love this story...
First he swaps his 360 for DJ Decks.
Then he gets bored of his decks and swaps them for a rusty BMX bicycle
Then he got bored of the bike and sold it to a fool for £5
With that £5 he bought a burger and chips.

So...in reality, this fool who is related to me actually swapped an XBOX 360....for a burger...explain that one! xDD

I remember joking with my British friend (I have them =O They're pretty awesome) that we were going to go to war (Him leading England and me leading Canada) I don't recall why but ya. He claimed England would win but my argument was we have Meese, and maple syrup, England wouldn't stand a chance xD
Ya'know that's relevant xD

Wow... I hope it was a damn good burger.
