I'm a hat person. I have a collection of fancy felt hats. I look very good in them, and in the summer they keep me from getting sunburned. I was just kind of put off by the way it went because mom and dad were all complimenting me on how pretty I looked in it and his immediate response was to tell me to take it off for a reason that doesn't even matter in context. -shrug-

Though, I should have expected it. I don't see the man for a whole year and the first thing he says to me (the night before) is "is there a bar around here?"

Swan: Yes! From the 1900's to the 1930's. And even past that, it was very informal to go somewhere without one. Most people still wore them unless they were at work. And, honestly, I would like to bring that trend back.

Unfortunately, that would require me to buy more hats. xDD

Lol :-) I look god awful in hats. So I may have to opt out of that. Though I do have a collection of hats from that period (like ones my great grandmother had, and others that I'd picked up at flea markets and such just cause I thought they were pretty) that I keep displayed around my bedroom.

I like hats but half the time they don't work for me.

Awwww! That's adorable! :-) I woke with snuggly lil emo boy (and by boy I mean a 26 year old who can make puppy dog eyes so I call him a boy) curled up holding me..... and snoring like a chainsaw. LOL. Oh well, it was nice to not sleep alone. I have had the hardest time learning to sleep without someone with me agian. I just got so used to it from the hubby, and my gay friend used to crash with me most nights before I moved in with zane. It was my insane roomy that thought he was a werewolf before that. lol. I just got so used to never being alone, it's been an interesting road teaching myself to exist solely on my own since then.

Actually, today was kind of a banner day for me. She woke me up so she could molest me. (<3) And then our roommate made chocolate mousse, Cait brought some wine... and apparently those two things for her are like the perfect equation for "You. Pants. Off. Now."
