4th grade. OMG... actually... those years are kind of a blur for me. Oddly enough. We moved around a LOT when I was in grade school and I went to 5 different schools in one year. I just remember being lost ALL THE TIME. And yeah, kids dont usually like the smart ones.. unless you're cute or something.... Which... i was just a twig. LOL.... >.> Little kids can be so evil somethins

I've actually never lived outside this state, which is going to be interesting when I move out to the west coast. >_>
I remember only a few things about fourth, fifth and sixth grades. Then seventh and eighth are a blur because I started spiraling into my downward trend of self-loathing. Then things picked up freshman year around the end when I started taking bellydance lessons and figured out just what sort of weird I was. Soph/Junior year was a whole mess because I was trying SO HARD CORE to be OMG CHRISTIAN! that a large portion of the student body came to resent me. Then I developed an ongoing fear of cults. Senior year I decided that it would be an interesting idea if we treated high school like an anthropological study and developed my interest in cannibalism. So when I got to college, I was pretty much the same person I am now... but with less passion, more denial, and (importantly) without the heavy sedation. |
Never lived outside teh state? That might be interesting. I've gone from maine to florida... to tenessee to missouri, kansas, texal, alabama, luisiana, california, illinois, and a few other random places. Hmm... I've misse a few states in the northwest and notrth middle and also in the southwest but I've gotten most of them.
I think in HS I was just the "I don't care what you think cause I'm happy with my non-preppy and non-nerdy friends." I was just THERE. Looking back I realize that I could have gotten away with so much more O_O If I had a time machine I'd surely be in jail right now. And I avoided college to live in Italy for 2.5 years. It was... interesting. |
I'm itching to get out, but don't have the means to do so. I'm saving up for a trip out of this town so me and Liz can live together alone. Once we're out of Muncie, hopefully the job market will be better and we can save up more for a trip to Oregon. Indiana isn't bad, its just... I want to see how far I CAN go before I decide that I shouldn't.
I can respect not going to college in favor of travel. I enjoyed college because that's where I met my girlfriend and a lot of amazing people, but its not for everyone. I have never been to Italy. Or Europe... really... |
I love traveling. I really cant imagine not traveling. But i can see why some people can't or choose not to. And I totally respect that. But I'm always up for kidnapping my friends and taking them on a random road trip.
I just didn't want to go to college cause they were not gonna give me any financial aid cause my parents made so much money, but the parents were NOT helping me out. So I had to get a job, which means I could only go to school PART time and they were trying to FORCE me to take a lot more classes than I could balance. They were like "You will need them eventually, might as well et them out of the way now" I was like "DUDE! You are NOT LISTENING. I CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL FULL TIME> is that so hard to understand!?" I wanted to flip the desk as I left but I ended up just walking out instead <.< I miss Europe. Kinda why I re-enlisted to go to Germany I think. |
Yeah, they do kind push the full-time student deal on you. My schooling was funded through a savings bond my family has had for ages, so I didn't have to deal with financial aid, but Liz was pretty much depending on it.
OO! Germany! I've always wanted to visit one of my many, many motherlands. xD |
I hate college. But it's ok. I have never stepped foot in a class and I nearly have my associates :P Hehehe... funny how that works out. Never took any classes online either :D
Dude... you guys could come and visit. :P I'll be thre in september. And I'm gonna learn German so I guess I could be a tour guisde unless you already know it. |
All the german words I know are curse words. xDD
As much as I want to go to Europe, I would like to be able to afford it a little more. So that would be quite a bit of saving. >> I actually enjoyed college, if for no other reason than that I met a lot of people who both share my interests and diversify them. Some of the people I care about the most are people that I met in college. They helped me get over my crippling anxiety. EDIT: I've been waiting for this project to save for fifteen minutes... @[email protected] |
I'm glad that you had such a good experience in college. It would have been stupid for me bcause I was trying to go to a community college to begin with so I would have just seen all the same lame people from high school. <.< Not much fun there.
Sorry I disappeared... went to shower... and Now I think it's nap time  |
Yeah, it did help that I got out of my usual surroundings. I was all about getting out of town. xDD
Go go... take nap. I have a character lineup to finish. xD |
Sounds like fun. Character lineup. Hmmmmm.... *turns on rain sounds and passes out to have more weird dreams like last night* See ya soon, maybeh. :P
|
I'll probably show you the result when its finally done. Because I show everyone everything because I'm an attention whore. xD
And because I've been working on it for about three weeks now... Have a good sleep! =D |
I'm back! But not for long...
|
I learned German in High school. >.< But not much...
|
Well "I have my netbook and I'm loving it, just trying to get used to the tiny keyboard and screen, But its so cute! <3 Love it! <3
|
Does anybody else work in clothing retail? I swear you get the stupidest people there. I work at Abercrombie & Fitch, and I had a lady walk up and ask me, "Who would pay $80 for a pair of pants?" before promptly walking away. I was speechless.

|
1. I would assume via her phone since that's how she normally posts.
2. Tonight was a night of drinking and magic. Out friend Mike came over and had me do like... ten tarot readings, then had a vision and had me do three more, then we drank a LOT and watched Avatar and Dr. Horrible because we are drunken nerds. 3. Mike reads auras. Apparently I'm grey. And when I'm drunk I'm grey-green and WIGGLY! |
*rolls into thread and bumps into Hyena*
|
Who wants to help me kill my Internet?
|
*hand up*
Sweet does! *runs off to get scythe* |
*holds up a sub-machine gun* Anyone else? I need someone else to use this one--I prefer my M-16.
|
I would use a gun but i'm more skillfull with my Scythe
