Hyena 01-28-2011 06:16 AM

'Mornin'' is my default greeting, regardless of time of day. Its 1:15 here, and technically morning. I don't go to bed until around 7am, which is still morning, I wake up at around 2... and it feels like morning. So... mornin' all around. xDD

Cuppy: then... what's happening at your school?

cuppycake_geek 01-28-2011 06:23 AM

Hyena:we are having a fed(cop, fuzz,po po) cause the school is being sued for a racist slurs. An they are pulling out 65 random people and talking to all of us

Hyena 01-28-2011 06:24 AM

Niiiice.

Ah... high school. I don't miss it at all...

cuppycake_geek 01-28-2011 06:24 AM

oh yeah but its no real surprise to me I knew it would happen sooner or later

Hyena 01-28-2011 06:27 AM

See, it was kind of hard to be racist at my school because you would immediately be swarmed with a good 90% of the campus telling you that "You don't know, man. You don't KNOW!"

So we weren't outwardly racist at my school.

We were, however, outwardly homophobic. And that was ostensibly okay.

cuppycake_geek 01-28-2011 06:30 AM

oh we are that too I here the G and F word like 20 times a day and I hate it. But yeah we are a 85% white at my highschool and its been that way forever so now that is changing people can't deal

Hyena 01-28-2011 06:35 AM

Our local pride group had shirts that said "Gay? Fine by me." They were met with a large portion of the population with their own shirts quoting Leviticus 18 and 20, as well as Deuteronomy. Quite a few of my friends were attacked because of their orientation, but the school didn't do anything about it. It was a touchy subject and there was little proof to the positive that someone was, in fact, homosexual. So it devolved into many meetings with the counselors, all inconclusive.

cuppycake_geek 01-28-2011 06:36 AM

oh that sucks.

Hyena 01-28-2011 06:38 AM

Indeed.

cuppycake_geek 01-28-2011 06:42 AM

almost a 100 of us participated in day of silence last year but that was meet with a mass text message by one guy, but he was pretty much made into a outsider over night.

Hyena 01-28-2011 06:44 AM

That's pretty funny. I think at my school he would have been a hero.

But that's why I'm glad to have moved on. College was ten times more understanding. Unfortunately, the rest of the world is still at the college level, I have learned.

cuppycake_geek 01-28-2011 06:46 AM

yeah sadly

Hyena 01-28-2011 07:38 AM

I'm feeling quite alienated today...

...but it would help if I hadn't kind of closed myself up in my room...

Wrenji-chan 01-28-2011 09:45 PM

Hyena- That's funny that you feel that way as I've been feeling overcrowded.

I'm visiting with my boyfriends "family" this weekend. We both, in fact, detest most of the people here - mostly because they don't like my boyfriend and I think it's taxing at sometimes, But it's something he wanted to do, and I didn't really have plans for the weekend so I thought "well, why not! Sounds like fun!" I'm not sure if it was such a good idea anymore.

Hyena 01-28-2011 11:01 PM

Oh my. 'Family' was in quotation marks. There's a story there, I'm sure.

>__________>

I think if I met all of my girlfriend's family, I would want to leave within the space of the first fifteen minutes. She has many many cousins because Aunt Shelly keeps trying to have a daughter but apparently can only pop out boys. ^^'

Off-topic: I think I got Andraus to leave the Tavern RP. Either that or I enraged him enough to attack someone... so Leonard can kick him out. Either way, here's hoping he doesn't come back. >>

Wrenji-chan 01-28-2011 11:53 PM

Hyena- Yeah... in short, it his mother, step-father, two younger sisters, a married couple that are family friends that have two young-ish children, his ex-wife (that I am friends with), her boyfriend, her son and her and my boyfriend's daughter.

 I've only been to this house three times, and it's a little odd for me to be here. (My boyfriend has his own apartment nearer to the college we both go to that we are normally at on weekends.)

Hah. Wow. I'd be happy to have sons, that I wouldn't fuss that much over having a girl. But then again, I really only want a son which means (if I do have kids) that I'll probably have a girl. lol.

Comment to the side note: What was Andraus doing that made them a pain?

Hyena 01-29-2011 12:11 AM

Oh my. I can see where that could get awkward and crowded.

I love having an apartment. I'm looking forward to having my own place with jjust me and my girlfriend. Right now the multiple flatmates deal is getting to me. Especially when you consider how much some of them owe me.

I've only been to my girlfriend's parent' house a few times and... uh... I don't want to go back. Her dad kind of runs a junk shop. He brings his work home with him. ._.

I'm probably not going to have kids. I might adopt, but having kids of my own is not on my list of wants. >>''

Note note: Its a tavern RP, so its pretty open for whatever. He showed up, said "I want to be a bouncer," and my policy is pretty much "if you have a pulse you can work." Well, as soon as I said he could work there, he immediately started painting the place as the biggest dive in the history of dives (made stuff up about how the food was all spoiled, windows were broken, the owner was drunk all the time, none of these things were true.) I described the place as 'seedy' and he proceeded to take 'seedy' to mean 'evacuate immediately.' He kind of glossed over the things I told him, didn't really pay attention, and didn't seem to really have an understanding of what it means to be an employee. Then he started making up stuff about why I hired him, saying that he was important and had connections and whatnot and I was done. So I'm trying to kick him out. He's resisting, but I think eventually he'll get over it.

Also, his character can read minds and that SEVERELY bugs me. Its a hard ability to write correctly, and he's not doing it right. He writes in first person, short sentences, significant number of errors in both spelling and grammar, doesn't seem to grasp an understanding of punctuation, and is just plain rude.

So I 'fired' him. We'll see how it goes. -eyeroll-

If you're so inclined, it starts around page four.

Wrenji-chan 01-29-2011 12:31 AM

:gonk: ZOMGeez. I didn't want to keep reading it after the first sentence. His grammar, his spelling... :headdesk: Wow. I can see why you're fed up with him. I hope you succeed in 'firing' him.

Hyena 01-29-2011 12:36 AM

He seems intent on staying because apparently his 'father has connections' and I'm like... gtfo.

So it looks like kicking-and-screaming, probably followed by an angry PM from him asking why I fired him, responded with "you're REALLY bad at RPing. Please stop." =DD

HA!

He left!

Buh-ZANG!

Wrenji-chan 01-29-2011 01:00 AM

:boogie: Yay to Hyena!

Hyena 01-29-2011 01:06 AM

Interestingly enough, there has been no PM from him asking me why I've been so mean. Though, I assume that he'll get his posse together to slander my name or something along those lines. He seems to have a lot of friends who consider him a good writer. I can handle whatever he throws at me, though.

TaiyoTsuki 01-29-2011 01:09 AM

I'm actually a nice RPer. Need a new bouncer now that he's gone?

Hyena 01-29-2011 01:11 AM

Not really, but if you want to join anyway I have no problems with it.

Later, though. I have work in a few hours and don't really want to get something started if I don't have the time.

Wrenji-chan 01-29-2011 01:14 AM

Later Hyena, nice talking to you. Have fun in your ventures.

TaiyoTsuki 01-29-2011 01:23 AM

Later Hyena. Let's all hope that you don't slaughter all the idiots you're stuck working with
