Well, a surprising number of people at work think that I am stupid.

For some reason, I find this comforting.

My mom's the same way, don't worry. Tends to make people think they're less worth their time and they'll leave you alone more.

Well, the dude that I was talking about who was all "Superman = Military" apparently talks about me all the time when I'm not around (as in... won't shut up about how much he hates me.) Aaron told me last night that in one instance he intended to say "when she's around, I feel the average IQ of the room drop," when what he actually said was "when she's around, she makes me feel stupid."

Aaron resisted all attempts to correct that statement. For the lulz.

When he goes off on statements like that, he says them and then doesn't stick around because he thinks that Aaron will jump up to defend me. And he's like... "fff... why would I need to defend her? She's a 24-year-old lesbian with a BFA and can bench press more than half her weight and frequently reads the dictionary because she can. Girl can take care of herself."

Also I have about the same attitude as Aaron does but with a more extensive vocabulary, so I think that its less that I'm dumb and more that I'm a smart tomboy and therefore a threat. xD

I'd think he was the idiot to not think you're a threat simply because of how much you can bench press.

With me, you've got to worry more about my legs than my arms...I reallly know how to kick.

Also doesn't help that I'm pretty. xD

I'm more likely to bite someone than punch them. And I'm even more likely to just use words. I'm GOOD at using words. xD

Sometimes words can f*** up a person worse than fists or feet. Especially when you're saying "fuck the hell off" in an alien language.

My weekend was full of work and stupidity, just like it always is...

Woooo! Mine was filled with sleep, house work, and baby snuggling :-) So all in all, a good weekend :-)

Its Inventory season. We didn't do picks for three days and when we finally got to it the list was over 2000. Needless to say, we didn't get pick done. xD

The guy who works at Electronics keeps trying to prove that I'm stupid by making even dumber statements than I can come up with. When I was talking to one of the instock guys about Marvel v. DC, he butts in when I say that I think Superman is a dick. "Saying Superman is a dick is like saying all the people in the military are dicks because they save people." Take a moment to work out all the fallacies in that statement.

Apparently, when I'm not around to defend myself, he won't shut up about how stupid I am. Here's what he meant to say: "When she's in the room, I can feel the average IQ of the room drop." What he actually said was "when she's in the room, she makes me fee stupid."

I can't get mad at him because... honestly, I feel sorry that he's threatened by me. xD
