I am confused (and angry) that my tax refund is only $8. VERY CONFUSED.

Yes. You have to file taxes if you are an independent. Liz doesn't have a job, and she has to file taxes. Its not hard, really. I did my federal through HR BLock for free.

I have NO idea if I'm an independant or still dependant....

Learned how to do tax return forms like two years ago in a class.
I was good at it and ended up helping everyone in class.
Dads a taxman so I guess it runs in the family?
Though I haven't done it since and have forgotten XD

Had a long talk with my boyfriend (we've backtracked a bit but it feels like we need to work on communication, and we're still together and working on things) and things are going one ok. :)

If you're under the age of 23 in the US, you can still be considered a dependent, but after the age of 23 your parents can no longer claim you.

And a bit of good news; my parents are finally getting divorced. Maybe now they can stop fighting all the time!

You know, I always feel good when someone gets divorced. It makes me sound like bitch, but I feel like its a celebratory thing when someone realizes that maybe they didn't make the best decision.

It totally makes me sound like a bitch, though.

It just makes me happy because it means that my stress level goes down considerably.

Yay for reduced stress! I know my stress will be greatly reduced when I can finally get my divorce taken care of *count's down the months till Pennsylvania will legally allow it*

What's the legal restriction for your divorce?

have to have been living separately for at least a years. We didn't move into separate places until august of last year.

I'm on my third day off in a row. Out of four.

So far this weekend I've found a place to live in August, sat in on a D&D session, pimped The Bend to a girl who has Aspberger's, eaten indian food, played Rock Band for six hours, and discussed ghosts with someone who thinks that he's the most powerful empath in a twenty mile radius. >______________>

I'd say that sounds like a pretty accomplished weekend :-p If I'd known you'd be off all weekend, I'd have tried harder to reply to the rp with my phone. My cousin ty has aspbergers. Sweet kid, but living with him for 12 years def had it's down sides. Maybe I should mention the bend to him too... hmm, I hadn't even thought of that yet. He really would love it (not saying that because he has aspbergers, this is just how my train of thought went: aspbergers-->Tyler-->Tyler likes comics and obscure subject matter-->Tyler would probably like the bend)

You should check out white wolf some time, with you being into more modern urban magic/fantasy it may be mroe up your ally. The Hunter game series in particular is about regular ass people (some with some kinds of powers for one reason or another, but mostly jsut people) hunting the supernatural for one reason or another. It's what I do ^_^

Well, the girl with Aspberger's is obsessed with hyenas. ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED. Her character (which is kind of poorly-played...) is a knoll. Unfortunately, her entire dialogue with everyone is "what's a ______? Can I eat it?" I'm thinking... if she reads The Bend and falls in love with Hans, she'll probably flesh her character out a little more.

I've read a few excerpts from WW. I'm really not into the participation of tabletop games as much as I enjoy hearing people talk. The witty banter between smart people is good for inventing dialogue.

That it is :-) I enjoy playing for the subterfuge of it. My current character is a member of the Ashwood Abbey and doing a very fine job of spreading as much chaos within the group as she is in the world around them, yet they all still have been oblivious to her being the cause of it apparently.

I actually got into it by listening in for an extensive while myself. *plots to suck Hyena into there evil satin worshiping habits.*<jk

I filled in for one of the players once a few years ago, and it was interesting and fun, but I think I prefer forum to tabletop. Its been helping me flesh out my own universe. xDD
