I'm rather certain that the otherworld astral travels of HP Lovecraft were not based upon the tales of sailors. His horror stories are based on a more urban setting. Cthulu isn't a giant squid, mind you. He exists on another plane and apart from having tentacles on his face is mostly humanoid. Quite different from the old legend of the Kraken, which is quite simply.. a giant squid.

However, Lovecraft did describe Cthulu as being a 'brackish green colour.'

It was colourful, if nothing else. The... ketchup incident with the pornography director was an interesting twist, however I've come to understand that my life is rather a mixed bag.

ok back story as to why I don't like her to start with. They dated for the last year and a half of high school. She dumped him she says its cause she wasn't in love with him like that. He says its cause she got bored with him. All I know for sure is that he was a mess for like the next 3 months. Then he went off to college and started showing interest in other girls. I thought he was moving on, but no I was wrong. Then thanksgiving happens they hung out next thing I know I'm getting text from him say omg I love her and I want to get back together with her. when Christmas break rolled around he asked her if they could try again. She agreed but the thing is he is going to college two hours away. While I'm sitting her smacking myself in the head cause well their relationship sucked at being with in 20 minutes of each other much less 2 hours.

then this past week they both had spring break from college and he came home for it and he had been asking her if they where going to see each other/ if she was excited to see him and she said No she already had plans with a chick friend of hers (who I know for a fact she is seeing again this week thanks to her being all up in facebook about it.) during spring break. Which she did and they only hung out one day out of the whole week.(once again know this thanks too facebook). Then she goes all radio silent on him and hasn't talked too him in the last like 2 weeks.(she kinda already was doing the same thing off and on already.)

When I asked him what he was gonna do about he told me nothing cause he would rather be in a relationship with her where she doesn't talk to him at all. I kinda was like uh yeah that's not a healthy relationship, but hey bro if ya wanna be that way I'm not gonna tell ya to break up with her I'm just gonna tell ya it's not healthy is all.

Next thing I know I'm at the grocery store with my friend Sara who really doesn't like his girlfriend that much either for the record. We where grabbing some snacks cause we where on our way over to his house to hang and just chill. When all the sudden who comes strolling down the isle his girlfriend. I made polite conversation then dropped that we where going over too her boyfriends house. She pretty much went oh well I better get back to work and then she went and turned tail and ran off. She avoided us the rest the time we where in the store.

So now I'm even madder and he's angry and I'm not letting myself shop at the grocery store she works at. Which is fine cause we have like 8.

Oh my. That does all sound quite, dramatic. Sounds to me like your friend out to be done with the stupid batter.
