Yeah, this definitely does help too. If it were just me I had to worry about it wouldn't be as big of a deal. I can bounce back from just about anything. I think part of what makes it so hard this time though is that in the past when I've had a bad break I've been able to shut myself down emotionally till I could heal up a little, butnow, I can't even do that because I have to stay attached for Shey, and it would be impossible for me to shut myself down when she's in my life anyway. She's just to amazing :-) Granted she's also really whats getting me through this. It's hard to be sad when she's giggling at me as we chase each other in circles around the bean bag chair in the living room till she decides to just flop onto it laughing at me.
And on the note of your message, house work, fun fun. Definitely been consuming most of my non work or baby playing time lately

Yes, I've been doing a lot of yardwork and on accident destroyed a wire while trying to install a towel bar in my bathroom so had to fix that >.< Ugh. Are you able to take your daughter to work with you? Or are you able to rely on Zane to do that for you? I'm not entirely sure what happened between you two as of yet, but I am looking over your lovely, very long, thread :-D Maybe I will find some answers... Oh! And... checking... in? *places his bags down in front of the check-in counter*

Hehe well welcome :-) His inlaws keep her overnight while I'm here at work, then he comes up and spends a few hours with her in the mornig so I can get some sleep. We're actually still on decent terms despite it all. sorry for the delay, ahd to make breakfast for an early departing gas well drilling crew. Barbarians though they are.

That's good you are both still in decent terms :) Never know, it could end up just being a temporary separation (I sure hope so for your sakes!) And gas well drilling crew? o.0 That sounds like a lovely morning... not. And no worries about slow posting, I completely understand. I am RPing off and on and talking to friends as well so I would've been a bit slow as well. I am also trying my best to catch up on your thread here... but its sooo darn long! *is sad*

Ugh I missed the new person! Well please do come back tonight! Sorry I was working on finishing up my shift close out and getting ready for the second round of breakfast. Lord Frap, it won't ok. The barbarians trashed my lobby as always but otherwise it wasn't to bad. AAANNNDDD I'm not working a double, as the girl on the next shift is still in training and they scheduled her by herself on a shift she's never worked before. SOOOO, here i am, till 3pm. woot.

Swansie:
Oh, gosh! That's sad. I feel sad for her. I just want to hug her and kiss her. =[ Will she get to see him at all? -hugglesqueezes for both you and her- I'm here if you need to talk to anyone. I may not know what ya are going through but I know what it feels like to be apart and dealing.
Eh, things have been up and down. There are days when I just feel like crying, I just miss him so badly! I just want him to come home, but we don't know when that will be yet. The last few days have been really stressful for me. The heat hasn't been helping much either.... but I'm managing, kind of. Mum is worried about me, she continues to tell me, but I keep telling her that I'm fine. Which I'm not, but I will be, eventually. Just taking it one day at a time. It's the only way that I can go right now. Just waiting for news. And I hate it! -sighs-
WulfWynn: -waves- Welcome! Sorry that I've not been around more ... trying to avoid snapping and anyone so I've not been online, if ya haven't figured out, I'm apart from my fiancee, he's a Private in the Marines. Just dealing with things, but eh, anyways, getting off topic here. Anyways, welcome and I hope that you enjoy our company here. :)

Swan: I totally hate working on my own, I've had to do that several times before- not fun. Its especially not fun when you have a pissed off bride and wedding party against just you. And usually those kind of events are pretty barbaric... I'll never forget having to clean up for a "sweet 16". Somehow the darn brats snuck in alcohol and vomited all over the bathroom. No idea how that got past their "security".
Hopelessly: How long has it been since your hubby has been deployed? I live in a military community so I see it happen all the time. I understand it can be very tough, you have the right to feel the way you do. From experience I've had in this area, I definitely know that the best way to go through it is to definitely talk- which I am glad you are doing here! :) Don't keep your feelings bottled up inside you or else you'll be just miserable :(. Have you been keeping a journal? That could definitely help get those feelings out of your head. And lastly, plan fun things with your friends!

Lord:
Well, he's back east (We're both from the west coast) in training, he was down south till May. But I've not seen him since January. It it hard and tough. And I hate it! We're actually not married yet, due to complications. At first I wasn't talking, really. I had some friends, basically corner me, and get me to talk and it just came out. I don't talk all as much as most think I should but there are times when I can't help it. I'm really keeping a total written journal. I have done some writing on my computer in word documents. Just feels safer as only he knows my passcode to get in. I don't mind him reading them. And I've been keeping as busy as I can. I child sit three days a week. But this week was just rough, with worrying (which I can't help doing) and the two boys I watch were just being royal pains.... and the heat never helps anyone. I kind of just snapped at my family, who I'm staying with over the summer before I head back to school. I'm trying to finish my degree before we marry, but who knows if that'll happen. We're definately having a long talk when he gets his week leave (which right now he's not even sure when that'll be.... xD). I'm actually considering postponing our wedding till I get my degree, which could be about 5 1/2 more years... not sure if we both can take that, but it may need to be done. We'll just have a really long engagement. Lol! I just know that we need to just need to talk. And talking through our short phone convos and texting isn't going to do. :XD
Anyways, how're you doing?

I am glad you are talking and that you have a great set of friends who pried you open to get your feelings out. For some reason I thought you two were married already... still haven't had the chance to go through this whole thread yet lol. Also definitely don't stop going for your degree, it'll just take longer and may never happen if you stop. And you can still go for it even when you are married. Don't let marriage put a stop to your plans. If you are getting married, you are marrying because you are supporting both of eachother's plans. That is definitely something you should talk about with him. What branch of service is he in?
As for me, I'm doing okay... woke up this morning finding vomit from my dog on the carpet in front of my door. It was kind of a pain because I just had the whole carpet deep-cleaned because she had a urinary tract infection and peed all over the place (poor puppy :( ). She's a little older so she tends to have these issues from time to time. On top of that, been working on job applications and a policy for my city with my internship.

Yeah, they're all terrific friends. I love them all. Oh we were due to be married in 10 days, but things just fell apart (long story that I don't want to go into at the moment.) And I guess I should do some research to the area around where he's stationed at the moment to see if there are any good schools with American Sign Language courses (I'm going to become a Deaf Interpreter.) He's a Private in the Marines. Oh, and he has mentioned to me multiple times that he doesn't want me to not achieve my dream, and he'll do what he can to help me with that. I'll get my degree! I will. :)
And that's good to hear!
Awe! =[ Poor dog! :(
Oh, I've been considering getting another job. I watch 2 little boys three days a week, but it's not getting me as much money as I thought it would. I'm trying to save up for a holiday to visit a friend in Australia, but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't be spending my money on a trip when I should be saving for our wedding. I don't know. xD Where are you hoping to get a job?
