I just called my manager, she says we have no way of veiwing what room is calling what other room, and unless they leave a voice mail on the guys phone to where they get charged for making a phone call (cause it won't charge till it connects) we can't tell what room is calling out. So we're waiting. I told him to just answer the call so it makes a connection next time she calls his cell. I'll keep you posted.

...weirdness.... it just made the connection, it was the girl again, and after he hung up the printer that keeps a constant running record of all phone charges (it's one of those super old school dot matrix printers, you know the kind that can feed constantly with the paper with the little tear off side strips with the holes to feed through the machine?) made a noise like it does when we charge a call to a room, so I checked, and it still says it's from 320.

This is so fucked up. It has to be a flaw in our phone system. I just called and woke our old maintenance guy up. Lol, poor dude. He says he'll be in. He used to work doing electrical wiring so he seem sto think he has some random tool that he can test connections or some shit? I dunno. I don't know the actually hard wiring end of electronics. I'm just glad I wont be here by myself. The guy said he's just gonna listen to what the women has to say next time she calls back and see what he can find out.

Haha, that's pretty awesome actually :-D I'd so be that girl that chased you and forced you to talk to her (were I in your age group, lol. I don't make a habit of harassing high schoolers. lol. not a pedophile. ) And have done so before! I worked at the local walmart for a while, and there was one very shy guy named Shaun who worked as truck unloader during my closing shift. I saw him peeking around the racks of dvd's at me now and then (I worked in electronics, surprise surprise) and I even tried to start a conversation with him about various games I saw him ogling, but he'd always give me like 2 word answers look super nervous and run away. Sooo, I started going out of my way to run up and talk to him every single time I saw him. He was adorably geeky and awkward, even wore a naruto head band. So, even though I've never watched naruto, I studied up on it and tried to start conversations with him on that, to the same outcome. He got all shy and ran away. After a while he started pacing through electronics on his breaks, and he'd even walk up like he was gonna talk to me then just turn around and walk away. It was kinda funny. So I made him my mission. Just to make him talk to me sometime. I figured if I could break him out of his shell maybe the rest of his life would go a little better on teh girl front, cause I'd heard from the other unloaders (who were a crass bunch of womanizing assholes at best) that he was 23 and had never had a girlfriend or even a female friend or a date. I was single at the time, I'll point that out too. So finally one day I got one of the guys to tell me what car he drove, and waited around sitting on the hood of his car untill his shift was over. I refused to move until he talked to me and added me on myspace, then eventually got him to the point where he'd actually go see a movie or something from time to time that didn't require much talking.

I thought we were making progress at least. Then he moved to north carolina with his mom. Not sure how he is now, he doesn't talk to me on myspace anymore since I got married. Lol

Hahaha! nice. You never know it might just land you one of those super crazy anime girls that cosplays 24/7 with a mix of about 50 different characters (like one girl at the art institute. She wore These huge flight goggles, an Inuyasha, sp, tail, black cat ears, awesome stripy socks, a leather vest, and big stripy scarf every single day, even when it was like 90 degrees out. And she was easily pushing 250 but shorter than me, who is 5'7" if you were wondering) Don't really know that I'd consider myself cute, but I'm not hideous. Lol

Oh and just to update you on the creepiosity, the maintenance guy ran around to a few other rooms as the guests checked out and called his cell phone from them, and they all showed up as 320, the vacant room. Now, to explain the status of the room, it was out of order, so they had it all shut down like that on purpose cause the shower doesn't work and they didn't want it being rented by mistake. I feel a little silly. I even knew we were supposed to be sold out, so why I freaked about that room being wonky when I should have known it was out of order is beyond me. Wow... it really was in my head. Lol. And a dick playing a joke on his friend
