That is indeed a lovely cake. I'm sure you would be able to get a job at a bakery at any time. And to answer Pearl's question, yes, I do cook. It happens to be all vegetarian though.

@ Bigsy - that's handy, I think I need something with vegetables in it - so far, I've cooked all carb/meat dishes.

I made tagliatelle with meatballs in an arrabbiata sauce.
I made fish cakes (fish, potato, herbs, egg etc made into patties and fried)
I made penne with pork + rosemary
And today I made penne with arrabbiata, but the sauce was a different recipe - spicier, more interesting.

So, I've cooked with tomato, onion, protein, and lotsa carbs. I'm wondering if there's a vegetable deficiency.

I was thinking of doing sweet and sour pork next, the recipe I have adds cucumber and pineapple.

Hm. If you added a fair amount of the veggies (and fruit), so that it was more than a garnish, I guess that would balance that out.

Lol, not many hot, evening meals contain fruit... fruit is a snack, or dessert...

Well, it is sweet and sour. I say go whole hog. Hm. Strange choice of words on my part.

I've had a busy few days... and it's continuing to be busy.

I just got back from a Horror Quiz, mostly based on movies.
Our team came joint last but didn't totally suck.

The only question I knew for certain (other than the one where the answer was Are You Afraid of the Dark?) was is in the 'murderers' section - which book 'inspired' Mark Chapman to kill John Lennon in New York in 1980?
