@Wifey - I graduated from a small school too, but we were in Scotland.

But I suppose, I can be pretty oblivious of social situations. I just don't take notice because I don't care. So that stuff might have gone on, but it was never with me or around me.

@Cookie: That happened to me loads of times. One acquaintance said she was so happy I still hung out with her because there were rumors flying around. About what I don't know, and I could care less. Though in the end I wound up disliking her cause of how bossy/picky she was. Course, she was rich, and I'm not. But I don't think that gives people rights to be rude.

And the day we went to Loch Ness, it was all cold and drizzling and we didn't really stay for that long. We went to go into the castle ruins on the side of the Loch and my mom threw a tantrum because she didn't want to pay admission -_-

Yeah, my mom is cheap. My dad doesn't mind spending money on fun things so they always clashed. But then mom will go to the store and stock up on all this crap. -_- I'd rather go to a castle than have her buy another DVD!

It's 3:00 AM and I am sewing for a cosplay I am doing for Otakon. :3

Oh cool. What's your costume? I wish I could go to Otakon. One of these years.

I haven't done any conventions this year, but I'll probably get out to a Renaissance faire, which is sort of like a Con.

oooh I've never been to a Renn fair. I am dressing up as the pink princess from Fat Princess. I am actually also creating a real life Menewsha item to help with the costume! I am using my senior prom gown, which is a hot pink sleeveless gown. Then I am creating pink arm poofs (see jubilee steam pink event) and I am also creating a big white "Bow Belt."

So far, I accomplished the Bow for the belt, but I still have to sew the belt itself, and the arm poofs which will prove challenging because they require elastic and I don't really sew... :<

They're fun. Lots of cosplay, only period costumes instead. :D I have a Ren Faire costume, but I've never cosplayed at a convention before. I usually wear anime shirts, or make my own shirts! :D

I can think of two ways you might create the arm poofs, one is sewing the material directly to the elastic and the other is creating the poofs like a scrunchy.

Yea. I am going to bravely attempt to sew the elastic to the fabric, and then fold in the strips into little tubes. My mom said to make the fabric wider than my arm and then use the elastic to make it scrunch up at the top and bottoms.

I am going as the Pink Princess from the PS3 game Fat princess.
I am black, so I am not doing blond... but I have a brunette wig in the same exact hairstyle with light blondish highlights.
I also even have green circle lenses and I have white evening gloves because I couldn't find pink.

The arm poofs should help it look like my gown has sleeves. And I am not gonna worry about the white and pink ruffle layers because I have no intentions of modding my 400 something dollar dress.
