My truck engine is having issues, so I'm gonna see if I can borrow one of my coworkers cars to go home this weekend to see the folks.

Going off to see the parents for the weekend sounds like a good idea! I'm sure they can't wait to spend some time with you! Hope your friend will let you borrow his truck!

Right now I associate home with sadness. I did get to talk to Loveh this past Friday, for about 10 minutes, and I found out he's being moved across the states, and won't be able to make it for our July wedding. :(

and BLARGH! I'm so sick of Zombie telling me to be on Skype at a specific time cus he's going to get on to talk to me and Cupcake and see us on webcam and he NEVER EFFING SHOWS UP. Her daddy doll broke cus she nom'd on the hand you squeeze to hear his voice so that ruined that. She hasn't heard her daddy's voice in ages and she hasn't seen him since he got on webcam 12 days ago. Every single time since then, he's not followed through. I hate that shit, that's my biggest pet peeve ever and he knows it. You don't tell me you're going to do something and then not follow through. I've been on Skype for TWO HOURS now and he hasn't shown up. Plus, he has to be at work in less than an hour now so I know he's not going to show up at all.

-hiuggleclings- So disappointed, he'll be back for a week in June, but there is no way that I'll ever get it all figured out and set up by then. So yeah, we're waiting. -sad- :(

I wouldn't be so mad if this were the first or even second time, but it's not. He's done this to me since he's been gone, so for two weeks. It's just really infuriating. I don't get it. Really. I can't sit on Skype all day long, ya know?

Yeah, it could work out, but right now I just can't even think about that. I'm uber stressed as the end of term is coming up and just thinking about a month less to plan is not helping right now.

And awe! And I totally agree with that. You have things that need to get done. And can't sit around waiting for him to get on when he's not getting on when he said he would be. Totally totally totally agree.

I spent like $50 today on zombies care package. It all wouldn't have fit in a flat rate APO box so I kinda got screwed. Ah well. Sent him bed sheets, his pillow, his camera and case, 12 AA batteries (for the camera), two six packs of V8 spicy and hot juice, a thing of 6 slim jims, 6 packages of sunflower seeds, a multipack of mentos, a big bag of lays baked jalapeño chips, three packs of his favorite 5 gum (the Zing kind), a bottle of Franks Red Hot sauce, a card and pictures from his day of deployment and a picture of the two of us. Which was all $20, then cus of the weight and the big box I had to get was $28. Roflmao. The next boxes shouldn't be this bad though, cus it'll just be snacks and stuff from here on out.
