I completely understand and I'm so glad that you have someone like that around to be there for you like I have with mausy. She's my best friend in the whole world, my sister, and the god mommy to my baby. <3 She's always been there for me. And she's always looked at things from both perspectives and if I'm wrong you damn sure know she's going to correct me, lol! But yeah, she's my back bone, so I'm glad you have that where you are as well.
AND to make this worse the only friend I have here just texted me saying that she and her husband just got PCS orders and that they're moving soon. This sucks because I love hanging out with her, she's so sweet, and our babies love each other so much (they're only a month apart). I feel like I'm going to cry. :( |
Yeah, Gracie is an amazing person. She's younger than me, but she's my rock right now. She called her sis in law, and together they got me to just start talking about everything that has been bothering me. I love both of them. <3 Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! :hug: :( Even if they are moving, can you keep in contact with her? |

I've said to hope before, quite often me and James fight about silly little things, and they turn into something a lot bigger cause we're both too stubborn to back down and admit defeat xD D'aaww, that really sucks stern. Its never nice when your friends move away, especially if they have kids that enjoy interacting with your own. If you need to cry let it out :) And hope - Its nice to have a friend to cry with. I've struggled to find that, being that most of my friends are guys, which sucks a little. But i can sometimes talk to my mum, unless its an argument, cause she'd just be like, 'Ah well, thats guys for you...' THATS NOT WHAT I NEED TO HEAR! D:< |
Lavinia Oh, yeah, I have one of my other friends over in England has been trying to convince me that I don't need to be so strong when talking to her, that I can just let go and rant if I need too. Which does help. but I just feel bad about doing it, so that rarely happens often. Gracie just got me to break down, and sometimes hugging and group crying helps. She was telling me she can't imagine being apart from her hubby. (they've been married for a bit over a year, and have twin babies who're almost one.) And I totally know how that is. I have some friends who will be like "Well you did this to yourself.." :gonk: :headdesk: I just needed someone to talk to, not to place the blame on me! Again, sometimes, sure I can see what I'm doing to cause them to do that, but it's not helping.... -sigh- |

Hopeh: So found out she's only moving just under four hours away. But if it's like anything else I've ever experienced in my life, once someone moves away thats pretty much it for the friendship. People drift. The only person that hasn't happened with me is Mausy. Everyone else disappeared.
Mausy: Seriously. Thanks for getting me to download it, lol. It made last night fly by. Here's hoping the next five months go just as fast. |
Stern Long distance friendships are hard. I've not really kept a lot after HS, but I do have a few. Stephanie (who I really became close to my senior year in my Art History class, she was one of the other Seniors taking the class with me. She's really cool and that reminds me, I need to give her a call), Amanda (who's like a sister to me. Love her dearly. ) and Loveh (duh. :P). |
