I think we're all pretty good, I know I'm pretty fine and dandy ^^

I'm not. I'm in crisis mode. My work is getting a surprise inspection and we are SOOOOOOO SCREWED. I shouldn't even be on here, but I have all my work done and everything I can fix is already fixed, only so much I'm aloud to do on the graveyard shift due to noise and having to stay right at the desk. So anyways, Hope you're all doing way better! I'll be popping in and out from time to time.

ps, is it sad that I kinda miss zOmg?

I work at a hotel. An independently owned franchise of a hilton chain at that. If we don't pass we get 30 days to fix the problems. If we fail again, hilton takes control of the hotel from the owners and starts kicking a and taking names, by which I mean completely re-evaluating the staff, firing anyone that doesn't seem suited for their standards or that has to many past discressions, and bringing in their own people to train the people who stay and the new replacements for those who are fired. At least thats what I've always been told happens, never actually seen it to know though

Yep, and it's mostly just the housekeeping people that are in danger right now. Which makes me feel bad for them. Cause it's really not their fault. Our standards that we have to abide by and the procedure for how certain thigns are done in their department all changed about 2 months ago, and we were so understaffed then that the head housekeeper was working breakfast most of the time, we also didn't have a general manager at that time as the last one had been fired and the new one was in training, so it really isn't the fault of our ladies that they weren't fully taught the new way of doing things. Hopefully the inspector will take that into consideration. We have a pretty great group of people here, so I'm really hoping they'll see that and know we can do things right so long as we're taught right.
