Apparently Pattinson was good in "Remember Me." I haven't seen it yet, but from the commercials he doesn't seem bad. It's not the type of movie that appeals to me, though.

Harry was okay for the first few books, but then he became kinda... Arrogant and quite a bit mule headed.

I never really found him arrogant. He was a bit out of it during book five, but when you witnessed somebody die, wasn't believed about Voldemort and saw the world as you know it fall down around you, it's not much of a surprise.
