In middle school, our teacher let us cover our hands with a bubbly, flammable mixture and then set them alight. Yeah, that's really all I have to say about that.
|
did it hurt? ...or tickle? Never had the opportunity to do anything like that. :|
Are you sure that was a school approved experiment? lol |
Oh high school science...those were interesting days. I've also conducted the hydrogen bubble experiment...highly entertaining, even if the shriek it made when it lit on fire wasn't to my liking. Thankfully it was short lived.
Also filled a tube with (I forget which gas), put a rock in, lit it, and pretended we were playing with mortars in the school parking lot. ...gotta love those teachers about to retire. |
it... shrieked? O.o that's a scary thought
|
Indeed, it did. It was awesome! o.o
|
lmao
I prefer the bubble we made of flammable liquid myself :P It turned into a big flame and then died. Art is a bang lol |
It just felt sudsy. You couldn't feel any of the heat, as I recall.
|
Wish I'd had a cool teacher like that... :P
Then again, I tried to avoid taking science classes as much as possible... |
Our middle school science class also had colouring books :3
|
COLORING BOOKS??! What kind of middle school has coloring books in their science classrooms?? *is actually jealous*
darn other schools for being so much more interesting... |
Well, the were biology and anatomy text books. Highly detailed. But also fun fun fun.
|
Holdable fire and coloring books? All I got was a creepy old guy who couldn't teach...and he was mean/unfair too. xD Did I mention creepy? o_o
Um, hi, by the way. xD |
Hi there. I had a super creepy math teacher my junior year. I dropped the class, he freaked me out so much.
|
I found a creepy Prof last semester and decided I'd rather put a different class in that particular time slot instead of getting a waiver from him. Creeper vibe in that department = run ze fluck away.
|
LMAO
My sister was absolutely convinced her earth science teacher (whom I'd had the year before) was a creeper. He wasn't and still isn't. She's just paranoid sometimes :P |
I had a creepy football coach (soccer, rather, for americans) who was overweight and wore extremely tight clothing. He always asked us weird questions like what we were going to do on the weekends and bought chocolates specifically for people. :l
also hi. i'm tuomas. |
Woah, creeper alert! >.<
And ello Tuomas, nice to meet you. |
Yeah, my teacher asked the entire class (keep in mind this was an all girls high school) whether we preferred to sleep in sheets that were cool or warmed by body heat in the course of a normal conversation.
|
I hate sheets. D<
The only sheet I like is the one that covers the mattress. |
Quote:
|
it isn't. :P
|
well, i don't like all the friction that sheets and pyjamas create, so I forgo the latter :ninja:
And yeah, I don't consider that sort of question normal either. It creeped the other girls out too, I could tell. But I often felt he was a little creepier towards me than the other girls even. Major stresser. I felt I had to ditch that class in order to keep my sanity... |
My science teacher would touch girls in what I suppose he thought was a kind, fatherly sort of way...like, touching their shoulders when he was talking to them or something...but it was sooo creepy. He even touched the top of one girl's hair in the middle of class. O_O
I am so so sooo glad I never have to have him as a teacher again! X'D |
this place is turning into a therapy session isn't it?
|
It seems like it just might be!
