@BellyButton- I can't grow strawberries to save my life.
Never tried herbs.
Used to grow lots of tomatoes, corn, and greenbeans though.
Now I just do tomatoes since I can buy the rest easily. I hate store bought tomatoes though.

Yeah, store bought tomatoes just aren't the same. Strawberries grow very easily here, I barely have to do a thing with them. Once in a while they're overtaken by slugs and I've got to lure them to a watery grave with saucers of beer, but other than that strawberries are the ideal slacker garden fruit.

@Key - for fun I planted some catnip in the corner of my herb garden and there's always some kitty laying on or near it.. there's like 3 colors of cat hair blowing around out there right now. :lol:

So um.. what exactly does one wear to a Feast of Fools, anyway? I feel like I should be making an outfit.

I'm gypsy/musketeer-ish. My outfit will be on starting tomorrow. Gotta stay patriotic today.

They really aren't. They don't have much flavor. And their almost useless for canning.
Lucky you. I love strawberries but I can go less then a mile away to an orchard and buy them so it isn't horrible that I can't grow them.

Really the inspiration came from the Disney movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame. So that is a great place to look at for outfit ideas. ^^

I meant to watch a couple clips the hunchback online, but I had so much fun making this outfit that I never did xD
